"aww you miss yo bookie?" maya asked me.
"mhm" i murmur.
we were all on the road for tennessee. the family reunion was tomorrow and we were going a day early.
"i'm so fucking happy." aria drove.
"play the music." i lay in the back seat. i had my pink hello kitty blanket and my stitch plushy to lay on.
"you feeling some lil wayne?"
"mmm sure." i end up getting real
comfortable in this back seat i dose off.
music blared through the speakers but i didn't even care.
"this bitch always wanna sleep." maya recorded me.
"always." aria added and i pop up flicking them both off.
"fuck y'all." i sit up seeing it was now dark out.
"mhm." they say in sync.
i text my mama and seen i had a miss call from Kandice.
"what the hell she want?" i say to myself calling back.
this would be the first time we'd speak since me and Kameron were together.
"hey mama." i say nervously.
"liyah baby why you ain't come to my dinner?" she asked.
"honestly mama K i'm dealing with somebody and that was disrespectful on my part."

"how you been though." i ask feeling myself get bored.
i yawn as she talks and just nod as if i was listening to everything she told me. she brought up that son of hers and i tuned out.
i put the phone on mute and talk to aria and maya.
"can we get food?"
"what you want fat girl?" maya ask me.
"umm shit i need a fat ass burger or something, ouu or some chicken tenders."
"i'm hungry too." aria says.
"the nearest waffle house ."
waffle house do be smack so why not.
we pulled up to the waffle house and when i tell you it was a fine nigga outside his whip he was fine as fuck, all the homegirls peeped it too.
"ohhhh, that man beautiful than a mother fucker!" maya says.
"he is cute." aria says with her voice getting softer.
"somebody gotta get that." i say and they both look back at me.
