(day whatever this is prompt: secretd revealed. What better to do than Peter getting outed as spiderman to Ned and MJ, but they don't react in the way he would've expected. What else could he do than flee to tony for comfort?

This is really really short)

The first thing that went wrong that day was Peter's mask being ripped off (accidentally, by Ned) while saving his best friends

"Nice to see you guys here." Peter chuckled nervously as he swung them away from the peril they'd been in.

"PETER?" Ned yelled, shell shocked. Nothing in his tone screamed that he was happy his best friend was Spiderman.

MJ had a similar reaction, but angrier.

"What the hell are you doing!? Let us down!" She yelled.

"I'm saving you!" Peter answered, quickly bringing them to the ground somewhere no one would see his face.

"You can't be spiderman. You're a vigilante! You break like- a ton of laws saving people." Ned rambled nervously.

"Wh- why are you upset with me? Out of everyone I thought you'd think this was awesome! You love spiderman!" Peter retaliated.

"Imagine if someone finds out you're spiderman. What happens at school? What happens for our college applications?" MJ snapped, "have you even thought about us? What happens if you get discovered and we're associated with you? We won't get into college either our futures would be ruined."

Peter took a step towards them, ready to say something to offer them comfort.

But they stepped back, like he was dangerous. Like he was scary.

He lost anything he had to say.

He felt tears glossing his eyes and he also took a step back, "s-sorry." He stuttered with characteristically Peter-like nerves.

"I can't even- I mean you're nothing like spiderman." MJ said.

"Yeah." He answered, "uhm. Yeah, please just- don't tell anyone. And stay safe." He mumbled as he backed up a little more.

"Peter, wait-" Ned started, watching as a tear dripped down his best friend's cheek.

MJ stayed silent as he hid his emotions behind the mask of the friendly neighborhood spiderman.

Once he was a little farther away he let out a sob. A great gasping sob.

He didn't know what to do.

Had he just lost his two best friends? His only two friends? The people he'd planned on going to college with?

They had been his study buddies, the people who'd helped him through so much without even knowing it.

And now they were so upset with him.

Mr. Stark's voice crackled through to his mask.

"Kid, why are you crying? everything okay?" Tony asked.

Peter just let out a sob, "they- they know. MJ and- and Ned and I think they hate me."

"Woah what? How can anyone hate spiderman? That's stupid." He concluded.

Peter took refuge at the top of some apartment building and let out a harsh, wheezing sob, pulling his knees to his chest and just crying and crying.

"I'm coming kid, don't worry I'm coming." Tony said as Peter collapsed into upset sobs.

In less than two minutes they met on the roof, Tony quickly opened up the suit and ran over to the boy, helping him take off his snotty mask and then wrapping him in a hug.

"Kid it's gonna be okay. We're gonna talk to them, okay? We're gonna talk to them, as a super experienced super hero and iron man I can tell you that no one's mad for long, they're worried about you kid I promise." Tony rambled in his usual chatty way.

And for some reason Peter decided to believe him. He decided to believe that his friends didn't hate him, they were just startled and concerned.

And tony ended up being right.
He usually is.
