It was Friday.

Arnav's meeting with the creative team was taking a lot more time that he imagined and it was frustrating.

He just wanted to get out of the meeting.

Just then his mobile vibrated on the table. If it were to be Aman informing him of yet another meeting , he would swear that he would throw his mobile across the room

He was surprised to find a text message from Khushi

" Hey busy man

Are you jobless tomorrow ?

Khushi"

He smiled at her craziness despite the boring meeting

He was bored to his wits and decided to play with Khushi.

" Hey. I always have time for you , baby"

He just sent it

He had no idea what came over him to make him to send this ridiculously cheesy text and called her "baby"

Was he seriously that bored to tease Khushi.

He was nervously hoped that Khushi hadn't been offended.

" BABY?? Get out of that boring meeting" his phone buzzed

He smiled as Khushi knew him best

"What plan tomorrow? " He texted back

" You , me and Aarav. Carnival. 8am tomorrow.Aarav is hoping that you come with us" Was the reply

" Sounds like a plan. I will pick you up ?"

" See you at 8 then , laad govenor. I will pick you up"

Arnav smiled at his mobile screen seeing " laad govenor"

" I'm afraid I'm too heavy for you to even try and pick me up in your arms "

" Lame" was her reply in matter of seconds

" Alteast I'm trying to be funny" he counter argued

" Umm. Gold medal for trying then"

" See you tomorrow Khushi"

" Bye laad govenor"

Khushi had come home later that night , feeling tired to the bone after a series of back to back meetings.

It was Saturday. The whole clan in RM prefer to sleep in little late except for Nani and Arnav of course.

The next morning Khushi felt absolutely like death. She felt congested and could hardly breathe through her nose. She tried to feel her forehead, definitely a bit too warm, probably a low-grade fever. She fumbled for my cell phone, it was already 8 am,

Staring at the thermometer which read 100 F

" Great . A fever. Just what I need today " she muttered to herself sighing rubbing her forehead.

She didn't want to disappoint Aarav by cancelling their plans and plus it's probably the flu , she thought.

After breakfast , she took some meds and drove to RM .

Arnav had only told Nani about the carnival since he was tired of them teasing him .

At exactly 8:01 , Arnav opened the door to find Aarav dressed up in printed blue shirt and track pant.

Aarav sighed ( hitting his own temple) at his father , all dressed up in coat and suit.

It's just a carnival not a business conference.
