Yang Yoo Min couldn't even stand before Hyun Woo who was sitting on a stone stool after he was dragged inside the basement. The underground basement was too dark that only the light coming out from fire torches lit the room. "I still insist that I know nothing!!! I don't know anything!!!"

"How can you be so sure that you know nothing when you were the first one to discover that my father passed away?" Hyun Woo screamed at him. "If it was possible that you truly weren't the man behind my father's murder, do you have evidence of your innocence?"

Yang Yoo Min shook in fear before him. "S-sir, I beg you. I don't know anything!"

"Hyun Woo," Gi Hoon walked closer to him and bowed slowly to him. "The assemblyman seemed not to know anything about how your father died."

Hyun Woo stepped over Yoo Min's right hand and soon enough, his screams echoed around the underground basement making everyone afraid of him. "You say he does not know how my father died? He does not know how, that is true but he does know why! Why did he target my father? My father was the kindest man I had ever met! I was the dangerous one and he knew it. Dad knew how I might become a monster but I have to. I will find out who targeted my father, Hoon!"

"Young... young master...," cried Yang Yoo Min while he was carrying his crushed hand. "We've told you long ago... I have told you who wanted Lee Kyung Ho dead since you woke up from your coma five years ago. How can you not see it? I am sure Lee Tae Jun told you, as well."

"Takahiko?" Hyun Woo held a sharp knife and pointed it on his neck. "Stop framing my adopted father!"

"It was him all along!" he shouted. "He planned everything! Do you want to know why I know that your father died before all others? I tried to stop him but he was too strong to begin with!"

"Leave me alone before I kill you!" Hyun Woo ordered him. "Ryota's investigating. I am sure that it was just between CEO Kang Dong Min and Yang Yoo Min only! Both of them kept on framing the man-"

Gi Hoon had had enough of Hyun Woo's hesitation to see the truth. "The police suspects Arima Takahiko, too! The South Korean Police just can't do anything about it since he's Japanese! I know you feel indebted to that man as he took care of you while you were so young but he was truly the man behind-"

"Give me reasons why he would do such act!" he cried out to him. "I'd give him the punishment if you show enough evidences that it wasn't Kang Dong Min or Yang Yoo Min who would hire an assassin to murder my father and I!"

"I can do that for you as I have not found any evidence pointing out that they were the people behind your father's death," Watari Ryota interrupted their argument. "Lee Hyun Woo, you need to free the Assemblyman or I would file assault and illegal detainment against you."

"He can leave now if he wants," Hyun Woo replied to him. "It looks like he does not need to speak more to me."

Yang Yoo Min bowed to him first before he walked out of the basement. At the same time, Hyun Woo wanted to believe that the assemblyman may still know something if he accepts his statements against Takahiko. "Why are you truly here in South Korea, Watari Ryota? Even if Takahiko was the true culprit, will Japan even extradite that man?"

"I came here as I was instructed," Ryota smiled at him. "My seniors ordered me to stay close to you and obey your orders but I have my own goal."

"And what is that?" Gi Hoon asked him. "Was it to spy us?"

"I'm not a spy," smirked Ryota. "I am a representative of the newly established Japanese Intelligence Agency. It was more secretive and so, we still are required to all work in known government agencies."

"Was it true that Kang Dong Min is innocent?" Hyun Woo sighed. "I don't want to believe it."

"Don't worry. I will keep on investigating, Hyun Woo," Ryota promised. "That man has secrets I must unvail. Even so, with Yang Yoo Min, what if he's giving you a slice of the truth?"

All other men of the Lee Group inside the underground basement exited to give Gi Hoon, Ryota and Hyun Woo a private time.

...

It was at the time they were the only ones left inside the underground basement when Tae Jun opened the lights and at the same time, Ryota was surprised to see some young girl following behind her. It was only when Hyun Woo walked near them that he realized the girl was his sister.

"You don't need to be here, Chae Won!" Hyun Woo insisted. "Why come with Uncle Tae Jun, anyway?"

"Can't you see that I want to share your pain as my older brother?" she cried out to him. "My father was with me since I was born but he had always been looking for you. He had your picture with him even when yoi were still in Japan."

"Was that why-" Hyun Woo took her right hand and clasped it with his own hand. "Was that the reason you weren't even shocked when I appeared before you when I was fifteen? You already knew that you have an older brother."

Chae Won took him around her arms. "It wasn't just you who lost a parent, orabeoni. I lost a father, too. Let me stay with you."

Ryota may not know her so much but seeing her beg to join a dangerous investigation made him fear for her. It was also his reason why he left Tsubaki who became his wife for a while in Japan to keep her safe. He wanted to step forward and interrupt them when he saw Hyun Woo glare at him which made him freeze on where he stood. "Sighs..."

"Would you let her in the investigation or not?" Tae Jun asked him. "She can help behind the frontlines. She's studying medicine, am I correct?"

"She has to stay with her mother," Hyun Woo replied to him. "I'll ask her for help if it was an emergency."

"It was my mother who told me to be with you," Chae Won informed him. "We can't lose another linchpin. Mom warned me that if I am not with you, I'd lose the chance to protect you."

Hyun Woo smiled. "When did you learn to speak so sweetly? I can let you to know the investigations but you should make sure you're with Ryota or Uncle Tae Jun."

Chae Won gave him a huge, big smile which comforted Hyun Woo, too. She bowed before him, and after that, hugged her brother so tightly with her happy tears blowing up. "Thank you so much, orabeoni!!! You know how I love you and respect you!"

"You always call me so respectfully," laughed Hyun Woo. "Oppa. Why not refer to me that way?"

Chae Won blushed. "Oppa..."

"Uncle Tae Jun," Hyun Woo began speaking again after Chae Won released him. "If what you were saying about Takahiko is true, let me talk to him."

"I will let you meet again," Tae Jun promised. "We all are suspecting him, anyway."

"Ryota..." Hyun Woo whispered to him. "Make sure to protect my sister while we're investigating. She does not want to lose me. I don't want to lose her, too."

Ryota nodded. "You can rely on me, Hyun Woo."
