Ryota sighed long and so deeply while he was with Anna that night in her garden at her home. The garden is still lit and pretty even at night after the lights were opened for the gardens. It was a long day for the both of them and seeing Hyun Woo with another woman was also still a huge shock to him but what interested him was his relationship with Prosecutor Woo In Sung. "What happened today was so strange to me. Do you know anything about-"
Anna giggled as she blanketed herself with a brown, soft cloth while she was standing next to him. "Don't expect me to know everything about Hyun Woo's life just because we were once a couple. He hid a lot of things from me. Anyway, how long would you stay here? Won't your wife miss you?"
"Tsubaki understands that I am working here," Ryota answered her. "She knows that it will take long for me to come back home."
"If that was it, can't she go here and be with you for the duration of your time here?" Anna sat on the wooden chair next to him after she opened the heater on their left side. "Aren't you Prosecutor Woo In Sung's investigator now?"
"And what?" he raised his voice. "For her to be disappointed that I was working for Kousei? She doesn't need to know that you're using a different surname or that Kousei chose to forget who he was! He's not Kousei anymore and he's begging me to accept that. I have accepted that he's Lee Hyun Woo."
"Are you saying that our friend who's in Japan has to stay in the dark and be oblivious to what you discovered here?" Anna screamed back. "Aren't you losing your own way now? You're still a husband who has to tell the truth to your wife. I understand that you're disappointed with Hyun Woo but he had always been Lee Hyun Woo from when he was in Japan or when he arrived here."
"Why was he kept in Japan and hid with a fake name?" Ryota rose from his seat and looked straight at her. "Do you know the reason?"
"That's something I have asked Hyun Woo several times but he never answered me," Anna sighed. "While Prosecutor Woo's busy trying to get answers why Kang Sun Jae tried to assassinate Hyun Woo, why don't you look for his biological mom, Han Hye-rim? Many of us do believe that she's still alive and well. He's also looking for her."
"Wait... She's missing?" Ryota asked her. "Why should I look for her? Hyun Woo never bothered me to look for her own biological mother."
"Looking for her might have been more of a dangerous job than trying to get justice for her own father with whom he knows his enemy," Anna replied to her. "Are you even ready to take that job? Forgive me if I am even asking you to do that job."
"Kaori..." Ryota rose from his seat and stood in front of her. "He has someone else now. Why are you helping that man? Right now, I realized that he just saw me as an employee but not as a friend! Why are you helping him?"
