"okay, vernon, can you tell me why you made us go to walmart and buy mini walkie-talkies?"
"for my plan."
"and you're not going to tell us your plan?"

wonwoo scoffed. "how are we supposed to help you if we don't even know what's going on?"
vernon sighed, opening the door of mingyu's car and stepping out into the wencorp parking lot. "just trust me."
mingyu also stepped out of his car. "are the walkie-talkies for communication? you already know we have a communication system set up for us. we don't need another one."
vernon shrugged. "well... kinda. just follow my lead, and if i tell you to do something, just do it."
vernon began walking towards the wencorp building, meters ahead of his two friends that were trying to desperately catch up with him. wonwoo almost tripped on his own feet, mans is clumsy. "vernon, wait!"
mingyu let out a sigh, speed walking behind vernon as he and wonwoo shared a look. "dude, do you have literally any idea what he's planning?"
wonwoo let out an "i don't know" noise, quirking his eyebrow. "he's being so secretive. i'm actually kind of concerned like what if he's planning to blow up the building or something?"
mingyu scratched his head. "i hope not. besides, the only thing he has are those walkie-talkies. he can't possibly blow up a building with those things."
wonwoo gave mingyu an incredulous look. "um, i feel like spider-boy definitely has the capability to do something like that, especially with the fact that he has inhuman powers, gyu. i wish he could tell us at least something."
mingyu let out another sigh, but it might've been him trying to catch his breath from how fast they were speedwalking lmao. "bruh, maybe i shouldn't have told him about the wencorp files i've found. he's been acting so weird ever since then. i mean, i knew he was so passionate about science and stuff, but... even this is kind of shocking. i've never seen him act like this... honestly, it scares me."
wonwoo nodded, lips pursed. "me too... i just hope he doesn't do anything that might hurt him or anything that he might regret."
it was then that the trio arrived at the entrance to the wencorp building. vernon took no time going straight in, stomping up to the front counter like a five-year-old. wonwoo and mingyu quickly scampered behind him, anxious to find out what the hell vernon was going to do.
