What are you doing?

Jade looked up from where she was writing when she heard the ping of the notification for the message. She sighed and tossed the pen down on her bed beside her binder where she was currently writing notes for an assignment.

I'm busy, got a lot of assignments I need to finish.

Can I ask you a question?

You just did.

Touché

Jade sighed, What do you want to ask?

Did I see you at the river party and then again at the art gallery last night?

Jade gasped, What are you talking about?

One of my best friends, Luke, was dancing with a beautiful woman with purple hair and snake bites at the river. She received a notification on her phone and took off running. She dropped it by the river and when he grabbed it, he gave it to me to try and see if I could find the owner since I am somewhat good with computers and phones. Last night my brother and best friends and I went the art gallery. We saw a bitch being rude to the beautiful woman and Luke recognized her as the woman he danced with and dropped her phone. I just managed to hack into part of it and saw the notification from me to you. You have purple hair and snake bite lip piercings, don't you? You're the beauty we were talking to before the art director called you away. Why did you leave?

You know why.

No, I don't. Please talk to me, DreamKitten. Is it because I'm part of the Blackbourne Toma group?

I need to get back to my assignments.

Please, talk to me, DreamKitten. I'm still me, nothing has changed.

Everything has changed.

Why?

Goodbye SpyroHacker914

Jade shut down the chatroom and flopped back onto her bed. This changed everything, ugh why did he have to be a part of the most popular family at the university?

A Month Later

"What's wrong with you?" Luke asked as Gabe slammed the front door shut and threw his bag down.

"She hasn't been fucking seen in the goddamn art building since the fucking art gallery!" Gabe shouted as he plopped down on the couch. "No one has seen her or know who the fuck I am talking about!"

"So you haven't been able to find anything about her either?" Luke asked chuckling at Gabe's scowling look right now. "Look Man, everyone has been looking for her. We will find her."

"Don't you think it's strange we haven't seen her since that night?"

"Obviously," Luke glared, "that's why we are searching for her."

"We aren't going to find her," Corey said slamming his laptop shut.

"Why?" Luke and Gabe asked in unison.

"But I need to ask her how she made that freaking dragon!" Gabe protested.

"How do you know it was her artwork anyway?" Nathan asked. "You said you knew it was hers but how can you be sure? There was no name on the display, and you aren't in her art class."

"Oh come freaking on," Gabe rolled his eyes. "It's a freaking dragon and did you not see the fucking colors on it? It was a dragon with fucking gradient of black, silver, and purple with aquamarine eyes! It fucking screams her! And at the fucking art gallery she had the same fucking paint by the goddamn molding table! It had to be fucking her! And now we can't fucking find her so I can ask her how she fucking did it!" He crossed his arms and plopped back down on the couch.

"Temper tantrum much?" Luke chuckled then burst out laughing when Gabe punched him in the arm.

"Knock it off," Corey glared.

"So why don't you think we are going to find her?" Luke asked.

"Because if we were going to find her we would have by now," Corey pointed out. "We are the best out of the Academy and yet she has somehow managed to slip away from us. If we can't find her by now, we aren't going to."

"Why are you so down all of a sudden?" Luke asked. "Normally you are more optimistic. What's going on with you, Core?"

"Just leave him alone," Brandon smirked, "His computer friend has quit talking to him so he's upset."

"The one you were always talking to like a month ago? That one?" Luke asked. "Why did they quit talking to you?"

"Use your common sense, Lucian!" Corey shouted standing up and slapping the table in anger. "My friend has quit talking to me for a month now and how long have we been searching for this girl? A month! I know you saw the look of shock on her face when she saw us! It makes perfect sense on why she ran! Think of how she has been treated and look at how we are treated around here. We have used all our talents and still haven't been able to find her. If we haven't found her by now we aren't going to and you know it!"

Corey stormed off to his room and slammed the door shut behind him. "Don't take it personally," Brandon shook his head while popping a chip in his mouth. "He's just blaming himself for not being able to get into the phone sooner and make the connection before the art gallery. He thinks if he did he could have stopped her from running. No matter what you say, he's going to blame himself."
