Dr. Roberts looked up from his computer shocked as the door flung up and Sean stormed in. "Tell me it isn't true," he pleaded, yet his voice was cold. "Tell me it wasn't you."

"What are you talking about Sean?" Dr. Roberts asked, confused.

"Tell me this isn't you," Sean demanded as he slammed a file down on the desk. "Tell me this is just a huge mistake or misunderstanding."

"What the hell is going on Sean?" Dr. Roberts asked as picked up the manilla file and opened it.

"Corey's pen pal is here, she got injured at work. When she found out she was going to be admitted, she had a panic attack. Her family just showed up and explained why. They said that two years ago she was admitted to the psychiatric ward and was experimented on. The doctor that did the experiments, according to her family, was a Dr. Roberts."

"What?" He looked up, shocked. "Sean, I never–"

"That's your signature," Sean said through clenched teeth. "Right there by her name as her attending physician while she was admitted. Don't lie to me."

"I'm not!" Dr. Roberts shouted standing as he slammed his hands down on the desk. "I would never do that! I haven't even been to the psych floor in five years. Have Corey check my computer if you must."

"Come with me," Sean said as he headed for the door. Dr. Roberts grabbed his white jacket and quickly followed Sean. The walk was silent, neither one knowing what to say. Sean stopped outside a door and turned back to his mentor. "So help me, if she freaks out seeing you, I will leave this hospital and NEVER speak to you again."

"Understood but I swear Sean, I wasn't me," Dr. Roberts nodded, "I will do whatever we have to in order to find out who this asshole is and why they are using my name."

"We'll see about that," Sean said through clenched teeth as he turned the handle.

Multiple eyes instantly fell on them as they entered the room, their footsteps echoing loudly as they approached Jade who was softly whispering to Elizabeth and Sandy. "Hey, I'm glad to see you're awake, how is your pain?"

"Okay?" she asked nervously. "Can I leave now, please?"

"Unfortunately, not right now," Sean shook his head, "I have to keep you here for a couple of days to make sure that you don't develop an infection, I'm sorry but it's for the best."

"We know it's hard, but it's for the best," Sandy said gently patting Jade's thigh. "We will be here every day visiting, promise."

She shook her head, "can't leave home alone."

"We won't," Elizabeth chuckled. "Annie and Erik are going to handle it for us while we are here. Don't you worry about us, Dear. You just focus on getting better."

"Try," she whispered as tears slipped down her face. "Don't wanna be here," she pouted. "Wanna go home, please."

"We'll go home soon, Sweetheart," Corey said softly, "I promise and Mrs. Elizabeth and Mrs. Sandy is welcome over anytime they want. Annie and Erik too."

"Jade," Sean said, clearing his throat. "I have a very important question that I need you to be honest with me about. I'm very sorry for bringing this up, but I have to know the truth."

Corey and Brandon felt her body tense up hearing the tone in his voice. "About my past."

"It's just one yes or no question," Sean nodded, "that's all I ask."

The Blackbourne Toma group held their breath as they waited. Their minds were swirling with all sorts of thoughts and possible outcomes.

She felt Corey and Brandon intertwine their fingers with hers, "no matter what, Sweetheart," Corey whispered, "you have us."

Brandon nodded, "pinky promise."

She looked over to Elizabeth and Sandy who smiled fondly at her and nodded. She took a shaky breath and gulped before nodding, feeling Corey and Brandon gently squeeze her hand, giving her strength and reassurance. "Okay, what is it, Dr. Green?"

Sean held his hand out in front of the elderly man standing next to him who was watching everything closely. "Jade, have you ever seen this doctor before prior to this moment?"

Jade looked at the older man and slightly tilted her head as she took in his appearance. He had salt and pepper hair and a calming aura about him. He had a presence around him that reminded her of Elizabeth and Sandy and yet there was something different about him too that made her think of Professor Blackbourne.

She looked back at Sean and frowned, "No, should I? Who is he?"

The man cleared his throat and walked over to her before holding out his hand, "I'm Dr. Roberts."

Automatically she flinched, cowering into Corey, pulling Brandon closer to her before she looked at him like he was crazy, "No you aren't. You aren't him."

Sean let out a heavy sigh and nodded, "Thank you Jade."

"No, who are you?" Jade asked, shaking her head. "Why would you say that name?"

Dr. Roberts pulled his wallet out of his pocket and handed it to her, "My name is Dr. Phil Roberts. I am Sean's mentor, I work at this hospital. I have for a few decades now."

She shook her head, "You aren't Dr. Roberts, I've never seen you before."

"Okay Sweetheart," Corey said, trying to calm her down since she was shaking.

"Okay Babe, we believe you," Brandon said as he kissed her hair. "You don't know Doc Roberts."

"Why are you calling him that?" She asked, looking at Brandon scared. "That's not him. It's not. He doesn't look like him."

"That man is lying, Jade," Dr. Roberts shook his head. "I don't know why he is using my name and I'm very sorry he did what he did to you but I swear I will look into it. I will find him and make him pay not only for you but for the other patients as well. He never should have done that and he needs to be punished for it."

"Can you tell us what he looked like?" Sean gently asked. "Do you remember anything about him that could help us figure out who he really is?"

She whimpered and sniffled, "I remember everything about him. Can I leave if I tell you?"
