"Mmm?" Sean mumbled as he raised his head. "Huh?"

"Let go, Jade is awake."

"Kay," Sean yawned as he removed his arm from around her waist. "I'm up."

"Come on my little DreamKitten," Corey smiled as he carefully sat up without moving her out of his grasp, "let's get some food in that tummy of yours. You slept through dinner so you need to eat some breakfast. We got to get some meat on those bones, you're too skinny. What sounds good?"

"Cheesy fluffy eggs?" She asked as she nuzzled into his neck again. She was too comfy to let her worry override her senses. "Juice?"

"You got it, Sweetheart," Corey smiled as he felt her lips on his skin. "Let's go see who else is awake."

She whimpered and shook her head, her nose rubbing his neck. "No move."

He chuckled as he lifted her a little so he could hold her against his stomach better. "Of course I'll carry you, silly kitty. Now, here's Nossy," he took the stuffed animal from Sean and she let out a sigh of relief as she held it between her chest and his. Placing a thankful kiss on his neck she cuddled into his hold again.

"I got the door since your hands are full," Sean smiled as he held the door open. "I'll be there in a minute, I need to get her medicine."

Corey nodded as he started walking toward the kitchen, "Close your eyes, Sweetheart, it's going to be bright." She pressed her face into his neck as he stepped into the room.

"Morning," multiple voices called out.

"Morning," Corey smiled as Raven pulled the chair out for them to sit. "Our wife would like cheesy fluffy eggs and some juice please and I'll have the same."

"Oh that sounds good, I want that too," multiple voices said.

"Got it," North and Marc called out from the stoves where they were cooking.

"Here you go, Doll, Pet," Axel said as he put a plate in front of Corey. "Here's some fruit too," he put a bowl of cut up watermelon by the plate. "And your juice with a straw since someone is still a little sleepy." Axel kissed them both on the top of their heads before going to help hand out more plates that were ready.

She sat up and smiled as Corey started feeding her. Feeling eyes on her she looked around and found Owen watching her as he took a drink of his tea. She held his gaze and softly gasped as her mind quieted and calm washed over her. Feeling brave, she pointed to his phone and he instantly handed it over. Smiling at him, she typed a number and placed it on the table before leaning back into Corey.

"Hello?" A male voice came through the speaker.

"Erik," she mumbled as she rubbed her eyes.

"Jay? You okay? You are never awake this early," Erik said in disbelief.

"Yeah...no," she pouted as Corey pulled her hand away from her eyes. "I stay home, too tired, hurt."

"That sounds good to me, Munchkin," Erik replied, "glad you are finally listening to your body. Let those guys treat you like you deserve and if you need anything let me know. Call me later and let me know how you're doing, kay?"

"Kay," she mumbled. "TTFN."

He chuckled, "Ta-ta for now, Munchkin."

She sat up and held the phone out, "Thank you, Professor."

"I'm no longer your professor but you're welcome Darling," Owen said as he took his phone and sat it back beside him. "And I'm proud of you for not pushing yourself today."

She blushed and hid her face in Corey's chest making him and a few others chuckle. "Can you be a good girl and take one more bite, Sweetheart?" Corey asked, "There's only a couple more bites left."

She opened her mouth and he fed her while thoughts filled his mind as he watched. Sean walked in and held out her medicine along with her phone. "It was ringing when I walked back. I didn't answer it."

She frowned and unlocked it to listen to the voicemail. Looking up at him, her eyes squinted in confusion, "Why hospital call me not you?"

"What?" Sean asked, equally confused.

She hit the button for the voicemail to replay, "Miss Ford, Dr. Roberts would like you to come in for a check up in an hour. If you can not make the appointment or have any questions please call me back at," she ended the call and looked back at Sean. "Why do I need another check up and why not you?"

Sean shook his head while pulling out his phone. He turned it on speaker and waited. "Hey Boy, can I call you back? I'm busy at the moment."

"Just quick question Doc," Sean sighed, "Why are you calling Pookie in for a check up when you have me off to keep an eye on her healing?"

"What are you talking about, Sean?" Dr. Roberts asked as he shut a door, quieting the background noise. "I haven't called Jade in for a check up. I'm not even in the state right now."

"She just got a voicemail from the hospital saying you want her in for a check up in an hour."

Breath exhaled through the speaker, "Sean, that wasn't me."
