This is yet another CL Stone Fanfiction. I do NOT own the characters that CL Stone created, only the ones that I have created.
Jade Ford is a freshman in college but she isn't interested in joining any groups or going out to party. She just wants t...
"Okay, I will handle this and keep you informed. Safe travels Dr. Roberts," Sean said with authority before grabbing her cell phone and putting it in his pocket.
"Pookie, you are not going to that appointment. There must have been some misunderstanding and I will handle this. Why don't you go and take a nap?" Sean coerced as he slung his arm over her shoulder and guided her out of the room. Before he was fully out of sight he gave a meaningful look over his shoulder letting everyone know that this was going to be investigated.
"Um, okay if you are certain. I am still pretty tired so I'll just curl up and watch a movie," Jade said with hesitation in her voice. Thinking of the hospital still gave her the chills along with a burst of anxiety. Noticing the change in her, he changed course toward the movie theater room. She looked up at him with confusion, "What are we doing here?"
"Well, since you want to relax watching a movie, why be cooped up in your room when you can take advantage of this space? Plus! I believe you are going to love this, wait here," Sean excitedly proclaimed as he marched over to a closeted area on the other side of the room. The door was huge so it must be used for storage of some sort. Jade waited patiently by the humongous TV screen before she heard Sean grunting. "Holy moly! This thing weighs a ton!" he grunted out as he was pulling something out of the closet.
Next thing she knew a massive bean bag as big as a queen size bed was in the middle of the floor. On top were 3 different pillows along with 4 different types of blankets. "Whew, there now you will have the ultimate comfiness while you enjoy your day off. If there is anything you need just call out to one of us or message in the group chat. Although, I bet you that you won't remain alone in here for long," Sean said with a bright smile directed towards her.

"Th-Thank you, Dr. Sean. This is exactly what I was thinking though I was going to do that in my bed," Jade said as she touched her chest to calm her beating heart from the care shown to her. Tears congregated to the corner of her eyes yet she wasn't going to allow one teardrop to fall.
"No problem Pookie, now get your cute little butt over here so I can tuck you in!" Sean fake glared as he pointed to the massive bean bag. Sticking her tongue out she got a running start and jumped into the middle of the ultimate comfiest bean bag. A large sigh escaped her as she nestled herself in while Sean flared out a blanket over her. Tucking her and her stuffy in lightly he couldn't pass up the chance and gave her forehead a light peck. "Rest assured Jade, you are safe here. You can take all the time you need to rest. I'm serious about you needing anything at all. Just call or message one of us and we shall get it for you," he whispered as he looked into her eyes, conveying how serious he was.
Nodding her understanding while hiding the lower half of her face in the blanket from the blush coating her cheeks, Sean wanted to just stay with her and cuddle. But right now he had something very important to do.
Taking one last look at her from the doorway as she scanned through the movie options on the TV, he then made his way back to the living where everyone was waiting for him.
"How is she?" Corey asked as he lifted his head from his laptop.
"Resting in the theater room on that ridiculously heavy bean bag. She wanted to watch a movie and figured that would be better than hiding out in her room. Plus she is surrounded by pillows and blankets at the moment," Sean chuckled. "She should be falling asleep soon since she has a full belly with her medication," he took a seat on the sectional.
"Now that we are all here, let's discuss that phone call. Sean, what do you make of it?" Owen asked as he crossed his leg over his knee and folded his hands on his lap.
"Do you think it really was a mishap at the office or do you believe it is the imposter Dr. Roberts?" Kota asked as he surveyed the room.
"No, I don't believe it was a mistake but indeed our imposter Dr. Roberts. How should we proceed in catching him? I took her phone away in case the hospital tried getting ahold of her again. Or on the off chance he tried directly calling her," Sean admitted as he handed her phone over to Corey.
"Hmm, should we look for a bird to impersonate Jade with a scheduled appointment?" Nathan offered as he stared off into the distance lost in thought.
"That isn't a bad idea unless there are others involved. Would the bird be able to act exactly how Jade would? If she was discovered and those involved noticed, they could potentially tip off our imposter," Axel reasoned the cons of the idea as there were still some variables missing to safely act out that plan.
"What are you suggesting? Jade be the bait to catch him? She's already traumatized enough! It was barely by the hair on our necks we were able to keep her there long enough to receive treatment from Sean. We have to figure out something else," Corey was quick to deny anyone thinking of using his Dream Kitten.
"Corey, we aren't suggesting that unless it is the very last option. That is why we are voicing our ideas to come up with a safe option for everyone. Although, we must act fast since we don't know how many people he has harmed and done malpractice," Marc spoke softly to his hyper-tensed boyfriend. "Plus the appointment is now in less than an hour. We need to think of something quickly."
"If we absolutely have to, we can have her confirm the appointment and a few of us go with her as backup and a few more of us go in as her boyfriends," Nathan offered. "Then she won't be alone with this asshole."
"No," Corey glared. "She's not going."
"Brother, I get where you are coming from," Brandon sighed, "but if we want to catch this asshole we may not have a choice."
Jade's breath hitched as she listened to the conversation. She was just coming in to get some water since she was getting thirsty and when she called out no one replied back, making her think that no one heard her. She knew Sean said to send a message through the group chat but that wasn't possible since he had her phone.
She shook her head, she wasn't going to go back there. Especially if it really was him trying to get her back to him. She refused to be his play toy again, absolutely not. If they were going to try and make her go then she wasn't going to stay there anymore. Although she really didn't have a plan on how to leave since this place was like a fortress. She needed to figure out a plan, but in order to do that, she needed to hide so she could think without interruptions. Knowing that they would start looking for her soon to discuss her going or whatever they decide to do, she turned and started looking for a quiet place to hide. Finding the library she saw the perfect place. Placing Nossy in her waistband so he wouldn't fall, she started climbing. Seeing the little crawl space door on the top of the bookshelf in the back of the room, she pushed it open and crawled in. Surprisingly it wasn't that dark and even though there were some cobwebs, it wasn't that bad. She laid the blanket that she was holding down so she wasn't lying on the dirt and dust, and held Nossy to face. As her mind began to form different ideas, the warmth of the space covered her and before she realized it, she lost the battle between her and sleep.
