"Where the fuck could they have gone?" Axel asked as he looked around. "There's only one way in and out of here and we came out of it. They would have had to pass us and no one did."

"There has to be another way," Luke said as he walked around the garden top again. "There has to be."

"NO!"

"Jade," everyone turned in circles trying to figure out where her voice was coming from.

"LET ME GO!"

"Where the fuck is she?" Corey growled as he clenched his fists.

"Here, fire escape," North said from the furthest wall from them.

"Let me, I'm the fastest," Luke said as he pushed past his younger brother. "Jade, no!"

"What?" multiple voices from above asked in panic.

"FUCK YOU, ASSHOLE!"

"Jade," Luke exhaled in relief when he saw her pull herself over the side of the dumpster.

"Talk to us, Luke," Victor's voice came through Luke's smartwatch.

"She threw herself over the side and landed in a dumpster," Luke replied back as he managed to get closer to the guy. "Ninja mood activated," he mumbled before he silenced the call.

"You fucking whore, get back here!" the man shouted as he leaned over the railing near the stairs. This gave Luke the perfect opportunity to sneak up behind him. Before the man knew it Luke had his arm wrapped around his neck from behind and locked tightly with his other arm, pressing on the guy's airway. He tried to kick back but Luke easily dodged it.

"Luke," Nathan gasped as he dropped down beside him.

"Go," Luke shook his head, "I got him."

"He doesn't look like–" Kota started to say but Brandon interrupted him.

"We'll figure it out later. Where is she?"

"She took off down the alleyway and turned left," Luke said as Marc took the tie from Owen.

"This won't last long but Doc will be here in a minute with a tranq for him," Marc said as he quickly wove a bind around the man's wrists. "We'll get our answers."

"Rest of you go with Mr. Toma, Mr. Ravenstahl, the Henshaw twins, and Mr. Taylor Jr to find our soon to be wife. Mr Taylor Sr., Mr. Weiland, Mr. Griffin and I have this under control. As stated earlier Dr. Green is on his way with the requirements we need. Go."

The men nodded, taking off down the path the rest had gone. "Why are you doing this?" Nathan asked as he gripped the man's throat as Luke forced the man to his knees. "What's your deal with my wife?"

"Fuck you," the man glared up at Nathan.

"Nope I'm good," Nathan shook his head. "I get plenty from my husbands and my wife." Nathan's playful smirk turned dark, "now talk."

The man let out a manic chuckle as he struggled in Marc's hold before dropping his head stilling his movements. The remaining team members waited in baited silence before he raised his head, a dark gleam in his eyes as his smirk turned sinister, "She's my perfect specimen. She's mine."

Meanwhile

Nathan kept running, his feet pushing the second he heard Luke tell him to go. He needed to find his girl and now. The fact of her jumping over the fire escape and landing in a dumpster had his mind swirling with all different outcomes of the scenario and he knew he wouldn't rest until he knew the truth. Turning left out of the alley, he let out a growl of frustration. There were people everywhere and he was suddenly internally cussing for being in the center of one of the busiest towns around. Why must the hospital be this fucking busy?

He pushed past a guy, ignoring the grumbling, to look for Jade. Her dark clothes and possible injuries should make her stand out but that was the thing about a busy city, no one paid attention to the people around them. "Fuck," he sighed as he ran his fingers through his hair. "Fuck!"

"Nate," Axel said as he appeared by his side, "she's bleeding." He held up his hand to show a small smear of blood on the tips of his fingers. "Look for blood."

"Fucking hell," Nathan groaned as his mind begin to swirl even further down into the dark thoughts forming. He had to find their girl now.

"Look," Axel pulled Nathan out of his thoughts as the both of them started to look around. "There," Axel pointed toward the crosswalk.

"Where the hell is she going?" Nathan asked as more of their family appeared around them.

"Away," North growled as he glared down the road. "She still thinks he's after her. She's going to run as long as she can."

"She's losing too much blood," Gabe complained. "What if she has a flashback?"

"Fuck, you just had to point that out, didn't you?" Brandon fumed as he ran his hand down his face.

"Sorry," Gabe pouted.

"Fuck, sorry Man," Brandon sighed as he pulled Gabe into a tight hug. "We'll find her and ground her ass so she can never leave again without us. Even if that means we have to build the two of you your own personal craft store and have shit delivered every fucking week to keep your asses home."

"Promise?" Gabe asked as he cleared his throat and ran his hand down his shirt.

"Fucking promise," Brandon nodded.

"Green, let's go," Nathan called out as the crosswalk figure turned green.

Axel looked down then turned, his eyes squinting in concentration. "There!" he called out as he pointed at the gas station in the distance, "she went that direction!"

The men took off toward the gas station and as they reached the store, they noticed the drops of blood appeared more liquid than dry, telling them they were more recent. Rounding the back, a white painted door suddenly pushed open, blue eyes widening in shock as the person appeared before them.

"Daddy," Jade whispered just before her eyes closed and she fell into Axel's arms unconscious.
