Once the wind calmed down, Miranda's wings unwrapped them and disappearing afterwards. Alexis let go of Miranda but remained close to her since she didn't seem like she wanted to let go just yet. Even though she wouldn't admit it, Alexis was always intimidated by the size and expensive look of the Castle, especially after growing up in the Village. She was always worried that if she touched something the wrong way it would shatter instantly.

Miranda released Alexis's hip as they approached the doors. The two of them stepped in, not bothering to knock since they were expected. There, they were greeted by the Head Maid herself and Miranda's ex girlfriend, Sofia. She had dirty blonde hair held in a bun and her gray eyes filled to the brim with neutrality, always seeming to want to end her brief conversations with Miranda as soon as she could.

''Mother Miranda, Lady Dimitrescu is awaiting your arrival in the dining hall.'' she said with a monotone voice.

''Thank you, Sofia.'' Miranda said with her usual confidence, but Alexis could hear the small bit of regret and sadness in her voice.

Alexis mostly kept quiet, not engaging in conversation with Sofia but did lock eyes with her for a brief moment to acknowledge each other's existence. She couldn't help but look around the foyer, waiting for any one of the three daughters to appear. Even though she rarely got along with Lady Dimitrescu, she was friend with her daughters.

When they entered the dining room, Alexis immediately noticed they were the last ones to arrive. Even Heisenberg seemed to be on time, possibly even early. He was sitting next to Moreau, blowing smoke in his direction from his cigar. Alexis couldn't help but feel a bit of pity for the mutated fish man. Sitting across from the two men, was Donna Beneviento. She didn't speak often and just seeing her outside of her estate was rare enough. Her live doll Angie was sitting in her lap and not running around and causing chaos yet.

Sitting next to them, was the Dimitrescu family. All five of them. Alcina was glaring daggers at Heisenberg when he propped boots on the table. Rue was next to her, her brown hair tied in a half ponytail and holding Alcina's hand to keep her calm. The three daughters were busy teasing and picking on each other before they noticed Alexis. As soon as they did, wide smiles spread across their bloody faces.

''Alexis!'' the three of them shouted at once, rushing towards her excitedly.

''About time you got here Alex! Geez, how long were you a birdbrain fucking for?'' the doll sarcastically said, immediately being scolded by Donna.

''How many times have I told you Angie, don't call me Alex.'' the woman said, placing her hand on Daniela's head as she spoke to the doll.

''W-Well... I think it's a ch-charming nickname.'' Donna said in her usual quiet and somber tone. Alexis glanced at her, tilting her head before managing to escape the daughters. Slowly, she approached the woman and leaned down. Before she could blink, she grabbed her veil and removed it. Donna's pale cheeks flushed bright red in embarrassment. One of her hands went to her eye that was already covered by her bangs while the other tried reaching for her veil, but Alexis kept it from her.

''I wish you'd stop wearing this, you look beautiful just the way you are.'' Donna stopped reaching for her veil and just started up at the woman with wonder. Alexis wasn't lying when she said that, Donna was a very attractive woman but the main reason she removed it was because she hated not being able to see people's faces.

Donna reached for her veil, gently taking it from the woman and letting it rest in her lap. Alexis gave her a smile before standing upright.

''Well, that is certainly something we both seem to agree on.'' Alcina said, reaching for a glass of wine.
