After returning to the base, Y/N was bombarded with questions by Akame, the first one being why he had so much blood on him. He simply replied with a,
"I was just passing by a town and saw something that needed to be done..."
Akame, not accepting this tried to pry, but got shut down each time. Akame pouted, however cheered up quickly after Y/N gave her a quick kiss. Making her smile, Y/N and Akame went to bed, it being quite late, and they had an important mission the next day.
Time skip
Currently, all of Night Raid were standing on top of a building, preparing to take out their targets.
"The target is Wild Hunt, whose inhuman crimes know no bounds!" Akame shouted, everyone agreeing as they all went in.

"Alright! Go me!" Mine yelled after shooting an unsuspecting Cosmina in the chest, 'killing' her.
Akame quickly faced off against Enshin. Not even a minute after the fight began, it was over. Enshin was quickly cut down by Murasame.
"...Big sis..."
"Who would've thought that we'd have the same target as the Jaegers?"
Mine stated, seeming surprised at this, "We Jaegers will hunt down anyone who disturbs the peace! No matter what that might be!" Kurome yelled, preparing to fight.
"'We will hunt...You've changed so much since I met you...that's why you can't die here." Run thought, flying over and grabbing Kurome.
"No, he's out of range. I feel like he used his last bit of energy to escape." Mine voiced, receiving a quick response from Y/N, "His injuries were quite bad. He will die. This mission was successful. We managed to kill one Jaeger and 'Three' Wild Hunt members."
(A/N: in case you didn't know, Run was fighting Champ and tortured him, but Champ got back up and they fought, almost killing Run but Champ is now dead, being the 'third')
POV Change
"Run! 'He's done for.'" Thought Kurome, seeing the dying Run on the ground in front of her.
"Run! If you die, Wave will be sad! And I will too..." Run smiled and responded, "Please tell Wave to always be his kind self...and to keep moving forward."
"Run."
Kurome said, pulling out Yatsufusa.

"We'll always be together! With Yatsufusa, we can make that happen!"
Run looked up in shock, "'Kurome...your mind was warped to this extent...this is why the Empire that raised such a miserable girl...please...someone...make it change."
"This is how it should be! We Jaegers are a team! I don't want to say goodbye just when we start to get close. Don't you think so to Run?"
