Will you be my date?

It was dawn, Mia sighed and looked outside the window.

She did not want to face Anton, she didn't know how to.

She was embarrassed, angry and irritated; mostly embarrassed.

How was she going to face him?

She sighed and forced herself up, she knew she had to make breakfast.

Anton waited patiently for Mia to arrive, he had to leave early today for an important meeting and also had to speak to her.

Through the camera, he saw her enter inside the house looking less confident.
She rushed to the kitchen to make breakfast.

Anton impatiently waited for her to finish cooking.
When she was done she served the breakfast of pancakes and coffee on the dinning table and almost immediately she saw Anton coming down the stairs in a black suit.

Mia realized that she never had to call him down when meals were ready, he always knew.

"Good morning sir" she greeted as he sat down.

"Good morning Nat"

She wasn't in the mood for argument, so she pretended she didn't hear that, besides she didn't want anything that would keep her here for long.

"Sit down"

She obeyed.

Anton felt that she might have woken up from the right side of the bed today since she was obedient unlike her usual self.

"How are you?"

"I'm okay sir"

"How was your night?"

"Its was okay sir"

"I want to discuss something with you"

She nodded.

"You know Jones Palvis right?"

"The CEO of Jo-Ne corporation"

"Yes that's him"

He ate a slice of pancake

"He is hosting a party for his 40th birthday anniversary"

The look in Mia's eyes said

'So? Why are you telling me all this? What do i have to do with it?'

"The reason I'm telling you this is because I want you to be my date to the party"

Something hit her, but she didn't know what it was

It was definitely a no!

"I'm sorry sir but i can't be your date"

"Why not?"

"Because I don't want to"

And he thought she woke up from the right side of the bed; always the same Natasha he knew.

"I can't find a date at this short notice, the party is tonight"

"You're Mr Hugh, you can do anything you want"

'So she knew that but still acts like she didn't' he thought

"Yes but I have to check out the person, which I don't have time for right now"

He looked at his watch, he only had ten minutes left for this and Mia was making it difficult for him.

"I have known you for a while and you seem okay for the part"

"Sorry sir but I'm not an actor, I can't do it"

"Nat, I'm your boss and I'm requesting this help from you"
