"Yes, I know" She dropped her hand as Taehyung didn't move. With some difficulty Seongmin managed to sit up resting her back against the wall, Minhi was quick to come forward and provide a pillow for her back for comfort

"I apologize for the delay and to make you wait. We tried our best to reach out to you sooner" Jin apologized to show their gratitude for her help

"Are you the same witch Mr. ByungHun talked about?" Jimin couldn't stop himself from asking looking at her doll-like face and lean figure wrapped in a fluffy white bathrobe which got damp due to her fall

"Flummoxed to see a young girl like me as a witch?"

Jimin nodded dumbfounded

"I may look young but I'm not"

"Pardon?" Jungkook matched Jimin's confusion that was reflected in her appearance

"My soul residing in this body is 625 years old"

"Lycanthropes don't age as well, Am I correct?"

"We do age but very slowly" Jungkook informed

"We live for around 300 years before dying but finding someone so old who doesn't look old is pretty awesome" Jimin added fascinated

It is indeed a good thing especially for women" After saying that Seongmin went back to staring at Taehyung intently, her eyes holding gentleness to it, admiring his presence as if she was glad to see him present

"We are here to discuss about the reason for the threat lurking around us, I'm sure Mr. Byunghun talked to you about it" Jungkook piped in getting straight to the point once he noticed she was fine enough to converse, he wasn't keen on wasting time after everything that's been happening to them

"Yes, I'm aware and I think the reason is related to one of you"

"One of us? Who do you suspect? I mean are you aware of our names and who we are?" Jin asked eager for details

"Yes, I'm very well aware of it. I asked Tilly to get me the information"

"Tilly is a spirit Seongmin named" Minhi added helpfully

"She's of great help to me" Seongmin shrugged

"So, who do you suspect?" Jin questioned

"I got to know Kim Taehyung's gender and rank changed in the span of one night so I assume that could be related to the start of the machinate, Come closer" She called out to him once again who was at the same spot, standing a few feet away from her had decided to walk up to her once he got a reassuring nod from Jungkook

"Witches have the power to be able to connect with other supernatural beings and since you are a lycanthrope I've to make use of this practice" She grabbed his hand made him sit near her legs and shut her eyes. She raised her other free hand, closer to her heart, and clenched it in a fist, chanting incantation

A minute passed with echoes of chanting reverberating in the silence, Jungkook took a few steps closer to his mate standing right behind him protectively in concern

The chanting stopped and Seongmin opened her eyes, she unclenched her fist and in the next few seconds her fingernails started growing longer turning into claws
