(4) CHAPTER IV

— GLEAM —

"You can't be serious" Jimin dead-panned

Jungkook shrugged in response

"You're not coming with us to Russia?! Are you kidding me? Why?" He questioned

"I don't feel like it" Jungkook replied lazily stretching his hands trying not to yawn

Jimin looked at Namjoon with a blank expression annoyed at the alpha

After a long stretch of silence, the only sensible one decided to speak

"We found rogues on our territory" Namjoon stated

The pack members gathered around, in Jungkook's office gasped "rogues? On our territory? That's impossible" Hoseok exclaimed

"That's what makes this more serious they said a pack was planning an attack on us while the alpha was gone and taehyung suggested it was a good idea to let them go so that the pack would be in the assumption that jungkook left to Russia and when they attack we can catch them red-handed easily" the taller explained the reason for the alpha's stay "of course we left trackers on them along with people to follow and kill if they tried to trick us"

"But how did they managed to get in?" Yoongi asked making everyone look at the corner where he was seated in the shadows with his elbow probed up and chin resting on his palm

"From the 4 guards who were supposed to patrol 2 were on leave and the other 2 were slacking so taehyung replaced them and called in that trained batch of 5 from states to patrol" namjoon replied

Hoshi snorted "More like killed" he mumbled and the taller glared at him

"And was the almighty gonna inform us anytime soon or you were too bored and maybe lazed out to death to talk?" Jimin asked after the information sunk in glaring at the alpha who yet again shrugged at his response not bothering to reply

Looking at the alpha's response Jimin silently trudged to the single sofa in the corner with loud steps. After reaching it he slumped down with a loud dramatic sigh "I should get paid to deal with him" he stated acting worn out

"Even if I did get paid in 8 digits I would never get bothered with you" the alpha replied. He was sitting on his desk with feet almost touching the ground. Placing his palms flat on the desk, resting his weight on his hands, he leaned back a little

"Oh really? I knew I was worthy of more than 7 digits" Jimin smirked

"Ew no you're not" Jungkook stated

"Yes I am"

"No, you're not"

"Yes"

"No"

"Yes!"

Before Jungkook could continue their back to back bickering Rosé came between his legs and pecked him on the lips "just tell them you can't stay away from me" she murmured between her pecks

"Can you stop? Or I will puke. On you" Jimin said with a disgusted expression

"Oh uhm since you can't go, do you want me to join them instead?" Rose asked and jungkook denied "no I just got you" he pulled her close holding her waist and she blushed looking down with a soft smile

"Okay, so tomorrow namjoon, jimin, suga, and taehyung will be leaving along with our shooter bangchan. He won't be present with you guys in the meeting instead he will be a little far away on the lookout from the top with his rifle in case there's a threat away from your eyes" the alpha ordered and everyone nodded in response
