Picking up the pieces of a broken life was a lot harder than June March had expected. After narrowly escaping the most horrific few months of her life, she had come out of the other side with a reward, a hefty amount of money. However the riches couldn't mend all the broken in Junes life, starting with her failed relationship, her debilitating mental health, her descent into insanity, her broken friendship, the betrayal of multiple friends, and the overwhelming fact that no matter what she did, she could never outrun the past.
After a harrowing amount of time trying to regain her parents trust, fix her relationship with her family, get back in school and caught up, attempt to integrate back into a regular lifestyle, and also try and cope with some strange symptoms, June was getting tired of being so busy all the time. But busy kept her mind off of her haunting memories, and busy kept her mind off of how dark things had really gotten in her head.
June March had convinced herself she was fine, that things were getting better and she was moving forwards, but the truth was never what it seemed.
