The last 6 months have been crazy busy. You spent this time hanging out with family and repairing relationships. You've also been planning your wedding with Mal. Both of you could hardly contain your excitement.
You and Mal are currently on the balcony of your new house. The sun was just setting on the mountains.
"I can't believe this is our house, I don't think I'll ever get tired of this view." Says Mal
"I can't believe we get married tomorrow." You respond smiling at her as you pull her into a hug. She smiles and hugs you back.
"Yeah, the last 6 months flew by, but I can't wait for tomorrow." She says
"Me either." You respond
"Alright lovebirds, big day tomorrow! Let's go get some food." Says Christen as she hops on Tobins back.
The four of you order some take out and spend the rest of the night watching a movie before calling It a night. You struggle to fall asleep due to your excitement.
*Next morning*
Today's the big day! You and Mal arrive and are already getting ready. Of course Mal was with her side of the family and you were with yours. You couldn't contain the huge smile on your face.
"How much longer will my hair take?" You ask
"Relax, I'm almost finished." Says Christen
"Everyone's starting to arrive" says Tobin as she walks into the room.
"Is Mal close to being ready? Did you see her?" You ask Tobin
"Yes, she's ready and she looks amazing. I can't wait to see your reaction." Says Tobin as Christen finishes your hair.
"I'm gonna go see her." You say as you start to get up
"Absolutely not! Sit your ass back in the chair." Says Christen causing you to chuckle.
"You have your vows ready?" Asks Tobin
"Yeah I think so" you say taking a deep breath.
"You're gonna do great." She says
"Everyone's here and we're ready when you are." Says your mom
"Let's do this." You say
You are the first to walk down the isle. It was nice seeing all your teammates and family. Kara and Barnes were also able to make It. You asked Barnes to officiate the wedding. Everyone seemed so exited and happy for you.
You wait patiently for Mal to walk through the doors and she was stunning. You couldn't help the tears forming in your eyes.
"Ladies and gentlemen, we are gathered here today for the marriage of Y/n m/n Press and Mallory Diane Pugh." Says Barnes.
"Let's do the vows first, y/n do you want to go first?" Asks Barnes
You take a deep breath and grab Mals hands.
"I believe in you, the person you will grow to be and the couple we will be together. With my whole heart, I take you as my wife/husband, acknowledging and accepting your faults and strengths, as you do mine. I promise to be faithful and supportive and to always make our family's love and happiness my priority. I will be yours in plenty and in want, in sickness and in health, in failure and in triumph. I will dream with you, celebrate with you and walk beside you through whatever our lives may bring. You are my person—my love and my life, today and always." You say
Mal had tears in her eyes by the time you were finished with your vows.
"Mal?" Asks Barnes
"Wow how can I manage to top that." She says as she takes a deep breath before continuing.
"I promise to grow with you and support you, I promise to be patient, understanding, and kind, I promise to listen and share, I promise to create, to explore, to laugh, and be curious, In good times and in bad, in sickness and in health, I promise to love you, I will make sure there is always coffee, I vow to be my best for myself, for us, and for our future together." She says
"Y/n do you take Mal to be your wife in holy matrimony, to love her, to honor her, to comfort her, and to keep her in sickness and health, forsaking all others, for as long as you shall live?" He asks
"I do." You say with a huge smile.
Mallory do you take Y/n to be your wife in holy matrimony, to love her, to honor her, to comfort her, and to keep her in sickness and health, forsaking all others, for as long as you shall live?" He asks
"Repeat after me" he says
"I y/n, take Mallory, to be my wife, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health forsaking all others for as long as both shall live?" He says
You repeat what he says before he turns to Mal
I Mallory, take Y/n to be my wife, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health forsaking all others for as long as both shall live?" He says
She repeats It back to him.
You grab Mals ring
"I give you thing ring as a token and pledge of our constant faith and abiding love." You say as you slip the ring on her finger. Mal does the same to you, both of you having a huge smile on your faces.
"By the virtue of the authority invested in me, I now pronounce you wife and wife. You may now kiss the bride." Says Barnes
You pull Mal closer to you ask you both kiss.
Loud cheering and clapping can be heard from the crowd as you two kiss, you pull away after a few seconds.
Everyone heads to the restaurant for lunch and after that you head to your reception. You talk and dance with everyone until it's time to head on your honeymoon. It was a night you'll never forget.
