BEEP BEEP

"Ugh" I groaned reaching my hand out of the duvet to smack the alarm clock, hoping it would turn off

Looking at the time, I could see it was 6:15. I zombie walked from my bed to the ensuite. After turning on the shower, I looked in the mirror and frowned. I look like a monster in the mornings.

After my shower, I grabbed my clothes from my walk in closet, and got changed there. I go to a private school, so I have to wear uniform.

My school uniform is a white blouse, a black slightly over sized blazer, a yellow/black tartan straight skirt, and some opaque tights.

I sat down at my vanity, and blow dried my hair. Then, I put heat less curlers in my hair to get that 90's blowout look. I have layers so it always looks really good.

Whilst waiting for that, I started to do my makeup. I applied some primer, concealer, mascara, eyeliner, highlighter, a tiny bit of blush, and some lip gloss. I never like my makeup to look heavy, so this routine works fine for me.

I then put in my jewelry. I wore silver, studded channel CC earrings, but not the ones dazzled with diamonds, just the plain ones. With that, I put on a silver locket necklace that my mom gave to me for my fifth birthday. I've worn it every day since. Inside the locket, it has a picture of her and me when I was a baby, and it has "Y/n, I will love you forever and always, from Mom". I will cherish that forever. It also goes with any outfit. I also put on a friendship bracelet I made when I went on a volunteering trip to Kenya in 2019. I met a really sweet little girl who chose yellow, cream and orange to make a bracelet with me. Finally, I put on some silver stacking rings.

My hair was ready, so i took out the curlers. "Nice" I said to myself. My hair looked like Cher's from Clueless.

Grabbing my school bag, I walked downstairs to the kitchen. "Hey buddy!" My mom said whilst she looked over at me from the stove.

"Hey mom" I said, going up to her to give her a hug. "Mmm pancakes, yummy"

"I know right. I woke up with this urge for pancakes." She said smiling at me. I smiled back and went to sit down on a stool in front of the kitchen island. My mom put the pancakes on a plate and gave some to me, some to her. I drizzled maple syrup over it and the put some chopped up strawberries ontop.

7:00

"C'mon y/n, its time to go" I washed my plate and went outside to get in the car. The school was a good 15 minute drive away, so we always leave a but earlier than usual. I put my seatbelt on and my mom started to drive.

She out on a Louis Tomlinson album, Faith in the future. My mom was talking to me about this coming up weekend whilst we drove.

When we arrived at school, mom parked the car and I took my seatbelt off. "Remember y/n, focus in class, be respectful, unless a man talks shit becau-"

"Yeah, yeah if a man talks shit than I owe him nothing" I cut her off, slightly annoyed. She gives me the sams 'pep talk' every day.

"Have a good day hun, I love you," She smiled at me "Oh, and remember I'm at the studio today, so please no pissing off at school, alright."

"Love you too mom" I gave her a slight hug and got out of the car. I heard her driving away as I went into school.
