"Mummy! Mummy! Mummy!" Y/n called out and ran over to her mother, who then picked her up and gave her a hug.

Y/n had spent the last few hours at her best friend, Beth's, birthday party. Taylor would usually tag along, all the parents would, but today she had a really important meeting that she couldn't miss out on. But Y/n was so excited about the party, so Taylor decided to trust the parents at the party and let her go without her.

"How was it Y/n?" Taylor asked while still holding her in her arms.

"It was soooooo fun!" Y/n said back with a huge smile on her face.

"I'm so glad sweetie" She said and have her a kiss on the cheek. Taylor looked at Beth's mom. "Was she well behaved?" She asked

"An angel as always" The mother said with a warm smile.

"Hey Y/n, why don't you go get the rest of your stuff and then we can get going, yeah?" Taylor said. By stuff she meant the little, plastic dolly handbag that Y/n had insisted to take with.

"Ok!" Taylor let Y/n down back onto her feet, and she ran off to where the other kids where.

"Thank you for having her." Taylor thanked Beth's mom. She felt a bit guilty for leaving her with them.

"Oh, it was no problem. She really is so sweet, and just adorable. And I know just how inseparable her and Beth are." The mother commented with the same warm smile as before. "Can I just say, Y/n is so well spoken for her age!"

"Yeah, she always amazing me!" Taylor replied. They continued talking with a bit of small talk, still waiting for Y/n.

Suddenly, Y/n came running into the room with a huge smile, her little toy handbag, and a pretty big party bag.

"Mummy look!" She said as she held the bag up for her mom to see.

"Wow! That looks like fun! Why don't we open that in the car?" Taylor just really wanted to get home.

"Okay!" Y/n agreed happily. They said their goodbyes and then left the house.

She held onto her mom's hand as they walked out to the car. Taylor buckled Y/n into her car seat and then got in the front.

"Mum! Guess. What. Happened." Y/n said eagerly, her eyes wide and her smile bright.

Taylor chuckled and started driving. "What, love?"

"I won at pin the tail on the donkey!" She said excitedly.

"Oh my gosh, well done!" Taylor tried to match the little girl's attitude.

"Thank you," Y/n said, clearly very proud on herself. "And I got sooo many sweeties from the vin-yah-tar There was like, a hundred hundreds on my plate! And I ate allllll of them. And when Beth was showing her presents, Lucy Jones was being really mean about them. She said that Barbies were a really bad word that I can't say." She was speaking whilst stuffing her face with more sweets from the party bag.

"Hm? What was the word?" Taylor questioned, still focusing on the road ahead of us. "And it's piñata, hun"

"It's a really bad word. The S word"

"The S word?" Taylor was a bit shocked. Why would a 6 year old use that word?

"Yeah, I mean, you let me sing it in your song, but I would never say it other than that. And Beth was crying" She said in a shrug.
