Chapter 16: Sorrow and Dread

*Ring Ring*

The sound of the alarm fills up the room and a hand taps over it, turning off the ringing sound. Hiroshi groans as he rolls back after turning it off and puts a hand over his head as he remembers the events that had happened yesterday night.

<Flashback>

"If they could already track me down, then it's no use staying here"

"Where are you going then?" Rensuji turns towards Kourtney and ask

"Back home and it's better you three will come with me" she points at them,

"We need those powers to be controlled properly and our school there will help. Plus, knowing that something happened after I left that cause Vience's magic to be sealed, leads me to a conclusion that the Crimson Kingdom is already ahead of us now" she added

"Crimson Kingdom?" Hina ask curiously

"Yes, it's the opposing kingdom that I was talking about earlier. This is also where those hooded guys came from" she responds

Kourtney then walks up towards the backdoor of the hall and goes inside. The trio follows her, curious as to why she suddenly entering back in the hall.

A lot of burning flames lits up the whole room alongside the wreckage that is evident inside. Those guys literally did a devastating damage in the hall.

"When I literally just bought my fit yesterday and those guys ruined our night" Rensuji exclaimed as he takes of his mask

Kourtney turns her back at the sight, "I'll give you guys until tomorrow to decide whether you'll come with me or not. If you made up your mind, meet me up at the park in the afternoon. Prepare what you need to do and remember don't tell anyone about anything related to magic"

"How about those who witness today's events?" Hina asked

"The higher ups of the university will take care of altering their memories, making this as an only ordinary accident to them" she responds

"Once we go to this so-called magic school or something, can we still go back here?" Rensuji asked which causes both of his friends to turn towards their class president

"I'm sorry but no. If you don't live at the kingdom, you are required to stay at the school's dormitory. Like I said, no ordinary people who holds little to no magic at all shouldn't know a thing about it"

The trio eyes widen at those words and contemplates hard whether it is a good idea to come or not. Kourtney expected this and she sigh, turning towards them, she said,

"Like I said it's your own choice if you'll come or not, however, leaving your magic powers uncontrolled and unattended can lead to your own danger as well as with the ones close to you. Most especially you Vience, seeing as you're a royalty"

"It wasn't really a dream after all, huh" he sigh and slowly sits up on his bed

Looking at the clock on top of his bedside desk, he begins to wonder if having to go to that university is really going to be a good idea.

"Speaking of school, did Kourtney say what's the name of it? Or I just forgot about it" he ask himself

"Argh!!" he groans, letting himself falls back on his bed, "Wait... If that school is what I think it is, then is my magic power really the reason as to why my sis wants me to go in her school?"
