Chapter 21: Our distance!

A week later-
Author's POV-

The moment Arlyn saw Lorenzo entering the house, she ran and hugged him but he stood still.
'I missed you so much, i don't even know how I spent 2 weeks without you' says Arlyn
'Hmm' responds Lorenzo
'Hmm? That's it. Won't you like say me that you missed me too' says Arlyn
'Can we talk later Arlyn, please! I am tired!' says Lorenzo and goes to his room
'What happened to him?' ask's Juliana
'I don't know, he didn't reply to my calls or texts last week. So I don't know what is going on with him. What happened to him Michel?' asks Arryn
'He met Marcel Scott last week and only that has tensed him up a bit. Nothing to worry about. Boss will be fine' assures Michel
'Marcel Scott your brother you mean. Lorenzo met him..why?' asks Arlyn
'He was the one behind the attack on one of ours warehouse' says Michel
'Ohk' says Arlyn
'I shall take your leave now' says Michel and goes from there
'You didn't react much hearing Marcel Scott's name. Do you by any chance know him mom?' asks Arlyn
'Yes, I know him. I met him quite a time. Long back during my training period in Spain. He started his trained 2 years before mine, that is how we know each other' says Juliana
'Ohk. I am going to my room. You also go and take some rest' says Arlyn and goes

Lorenzo's room-
I quietly went on my side of the bed and was trying to sleep but I wasn't getting any because I couldn't stop think about Lorenzo's behaviour. So out of curiosity I asked him,
'Lorenzo, are you awake?' but he didn't reply, i called his name again when,
'Lorenzo are' I couldn't complete my sentence because he cut me off in the middle and spoke out
'What do you want Arlyn? Won't you even let me sleep quietly' says Lorenzo increasing his voice
'Calm down. There is no need to shout. I was just asking are you still awake or not' says Arlyn
'I am awake okay?' says Lorenzo
'What the hell is your problem, why are you behaving like this with me. What did I do huh? The moment you came back you didn't even spoke to me nor gave a me a hug till now. What is going on Lorenzo? Is Marcel Scott bothering you so much?' asks Arlyn
'Who told you about him?' asks Lorenzo
'Does it matters? I don't think so. But you tell me why are you behaving so off with me. What is my fault?' I asked him seriously
'Your fault is that you aren't letting me sleep quietly. You talk and talk whole day when I am around. You don't let me be in peace. From the moment we got married, I have not got any proper sleep till now, all because of your Arlyn. I am getting death threats because of you. My family is in danger because of you. I don't know what to do, how to save them' says Lorenzo
'Am I not your family Lorenzo? How can you say all that. Are you even listening to what are you saying? You are blabbing shit out of your mouth. Today I got to know how wrong I was about you. I thought you are going with some stress, problems. But never knew I would be the reason behind your problems. I hate you for saying all that' I said him off. I spoke my heart out. How could he say all that, I fucking hate him for saying me all that. He didn't even say anything later and i went to sleep ignoring him

Few hours later-
She told me off today everything that she has been keeping in her heart. I know I was at fault for everything. Reason behind her tears, I am the one who is hurting her so much. I walked to her side and sat on the couch beside her side of the bed, I see some tears on her eye, I wipe them off and kissed her cheek. 'I am so..' I couldn't complete my sentence because she woke up,
'Lorenzo? You scared me. Never do that again' says Arlyn and I went back on my side of bed and slept

And that is how I beganned my plan. Plan to divorce Arlyn; by making moves slowly so that she and others doesn't doubt my intentions. I have to do this, to protect Arlyn, to keep her safe I have to let her go; away from me. That is the only option I am left with. Because getting a warning form the king himself; Marcel Scott is something else, and I know if he says something he will do it, so I can expect him to attack on us again, maybe this time really on my family. Maybe Arlyn this time as he said and to avoid all this, I have to first let go Arlyn from my life and then think what to do next. Because I can't see her get hurt in the process, because of me!'

'For a moment you behave like your are pissed with me, that your are tired of me and now you show affection and behave like you care about me so much. What are you trying to do Lorenzo?' thinks Arlyn

Next day(morning)-

'Good morning mam, your coffee' says Sheila
'Thank you Sheila. But I was coming down anyhow' says Arlyn
'I know that mam. But I got the coffee here on sir's request' says Sheila
'Okay' says Arlyn

Down on the breakfast table-
'You didn't have to do that' says Arlyn
'What are you taking about Arlyn? What shouldn't Lorenzo had to do?' ask's Juliana
'Nothing you need to know about mom. It's a fight between me and Lorenzo. So I request you all to please stay out of it' says Arlyn
'Okay. Looks like it is something serious' says Juliana
'It sure is' says Arlyn
'They have a fight everyday. That's nothing new now' says David
'We don't fight everyday David. You know nothing about us..so please stay out of it' says Arryn

So here it is,
Lorenzo really has made up his mind about divorcing Arlyn. Will he really be successful in divorcing her?
