Chapter 34: His One Sided

After the funeral ceremony
There were many people present, one by one came after the ceremony and gave their condolences to the family. Lorenzo was controlling his emotions, he kept his calm, but lost it when he saw Zameer, the killer of his mother, yes Lorenzo knew that Zameer was the one behind the attack on them, the one who made the orders to kill Juliana, he took his revenge, yet had the courage to show up at the funeral, while Zameer was making his way coming towards Lorenzo, he didn't give him a chance, before he comes to him, Lorenzo walked towards him in anger, and he lift him up with his hand, Zameer was in air, beating off Lorenzo's hands continuously to let him go but Lorenzo was Lorenzo, he wasn't ready to let him go, until Arlyn noticed it all and she went to stop him,
'Lorenzo, let him go. Leave his neck, he will die Lorenzo' says Arlyn
'That's what I want' says Lorenzo
While all of this was happening, the people around were gossiping how Lorenzo is daring to kill Zameer in front of everyone.
'Don't be crazy Lorenzo, let go off Zameer' says Guzaro. All the other Aces came and hold Lorenzo, but it didn't matter him, he didn't leave Zameer, in fact he tightened his grip more
'I said fucking let him go Lorenzo. Don't start a war, not today at least' the moment Arlyn those words out from her mouth, he let go Zameer and he fell on the ground, injuring his leg. 'You fucker' says Zameer but Lorenzo didn't bother to listen him further and left from there. That's when Helena comes there too,
'Hel' says Arlyn and hugs her
'How are you?' asks Helena breaking the hug
'I am doing better but Lorenzo isn't doing any good and I don't know how to control him or his anger' says Arlyn
'Just go and find him Ari, I will take care of everything here' says Helena
'You sure?' asks Arlyn
'Yes, even your mom is here, will handle it, go find Lorenzo' says Helena
'Fine' says Arlyn and goes to find Lorenzo, he was sitting by the lake where they used to meet when they were teenagers. She went and sat on the bench beside him not disturbing him from his thoughts, but he noticed her presence, he looked at her and lay on her laps, she caressed his hair and,
'How are you feeeling?' asks Arlyn
'I don't feel anything' says Lorenzo
'I know you are angry on Zameer, but you have to keep your calm Lorenzo, this is not the time you start a fight with him' says Arlyn calmly
'He killed my mother. What do you expect me to do? Stay calm like you and sit somewhere' says Lornezo
'No, you think her death didn't matter me, it affected me too but I am calm Lorenzo, it effected all of us, she was important to all of us like she was to you' says Arlyn
'No, you don't understand my pain. First I lost my father and now mother too. I am all alone' says Lorenzo
'You think you are alone in this world, then what I am to you? Who am I to you?' asks Arlyn
'My wife' says Lorenzo
'Exactly, I am your wife Lorenzo, I vowed to stay by your side always, in good times, also in your bad times, so here I am for you Lorenzo, share your feelings with me' says Arlyn and continues ' now tell me how do you feel?' asks Arlyn
'I'm sad, of course, but I am also glad that she went in a place where she doesn't have to fight with me ever again' says Lornezo
'One day, you're gonna have to stop pretending that everything is okay' say's Arlyn and continues 'because it isn't, she is gone just like that, it affects me, so does it to you, so express it out' says Arlyn and he got up and hugged her tight..tight enough to never let her go, she hugged him back patting his back

'Back then, you weren't like this, why are you changing Lorenzo? When I say you that I am here, when I want you to share your feelings with me..why don't you do it? Why do you distance yourself from me' thinks Arlyn

After breaking the hug, they went back to the mansion only to find that someone was waiting for them there..who is it? Let's find it by going in the mansion. They went in the mansion, and found that everyone left, but Marcel Scott was here, why? Don't know! Lorenzo saw that he was sitting on the couch, one leg of his on the other, using his phone, but he kept it down when he saw Arlyn and Lorenzo.
'Finally' says Marcel
'What are you doing here?' asks Lorneoz sitting on the other couch, so did Arlyn sat beside him
'You know what got me here' says Marcel
'No, I don't. So you tell me, what got you here?' asks Lorenzo
'Sure but before that, darling(implying on Arlyn) can we have some privacy please?' asks Marcel and she looks at Lorenzo, he assures her that he will be fine, and she left giving them privacy
'So tell me what got you here Marcel? Want to give me another threat regarding my wife, don't worry I am letting her go anyways, so it won't matter me anymore' says Lorenzo
'No. No threats today, but loved hearing that you are letting her go. Thinking of getting separated..good. Anyways women aren't for men like us' says Marcel
'I am not letting her go because of what you said, I am letting her go because I want to see her happy, I want her to live the life she wants, a far from me, in her own world, happy always, away from these threats and this dark world' says Lorenzo
'Oh so you basically want to protect her from monsters like me' says Marcel
'Exactly' says Lorenzo
'I am here to give my condolences' say's Marcel changing the topic
'Really? You could have just made a call for it. Why come here?' Asks Lorenzo
'No, not in the matters of her' thinks Marcel

Lorenzo is sad about Juliana's death
