Chapter 33: Gone

A week later-
Russia was mine. Officially mine last week! I told my dad that Lorenzo was ready to give Russia to me and he was so happy, dad shouldn't have put that condition in between to accept me back. He's doing all this just to take away everything from Lorenzo but he doesn't knows that Lorenzo wouldn't give up on something so easily like he didn't give up on me years ago!! Anyways dad started talking to me and we were back to normal. I was so happy having him back in my life, though some things remained same, that he still talks rudely with Lorenzo, so does he. Also I have been handling one of this warehouse again like I did in past when I wasn't married!

So here we were, right now I am with Lorenzo, on our way to "O'Dare Mansion" of course to meet mom and Samuel, and David too. It was Sunday today, so we're all free, so decided to have lunch together.

O'Dare Mansion-
'Hello' I greet Juliana and hugged her as we went inside!
After greeting others we directly asked net to the table to have our lunch. It was a family lunch after all, there was me, Lorenzo, Juliana, David, Samuel, also we were surprised by seeing Lex's parents(Lorenzo's grandparents) there too. Lorenzo and I were so happy to see them; this was the first time I met them as they couldn't come to our wedding due to the circumstances we got married in. I talked a lot to his grandma, actually they both were really sweet in person. I loved talking to them, but then it was their time to go, they came to Italy for some work and had to go back now.
'Bye, take care' says Juliana breaking the hug
'You to dear' says Josette(grandma)
'Hmm' says Juliana and they left after their goodbyes

30 minutes later
So after talking for too long with Juliana, it was our time to go too. We have our goodbyes to them and we're about to step out when we were stopped by Juliana, 'actually, I would like to come along' says Juliana
'Why?' asks Lorenzo curiously
'I wanted to check the warehouse, it's been time last I checked it, so drop me on your way' says Juliana
'I am going home, but Lorenzo will surely drop you on the way..right Lorenzo?' asks Arlyn looking at him, expecting a yes and he nods his head in a yes!
We sat in the car, Jackson drives the car, Lorenzo sat beside the driving seat, and we both sat on the back seat..I was feeling Juliana if she also wants to come over to home..I said we can have a girls night, i, her, mom and Helena too..yes she was in town. She agreed to it, when something unexpected happened, we heard gun shots, 2 cars were following us and one of the man from the car was shooting our car, other man joined him too, they shoot on the tires, and now the car was out of control, Jackson wasn't able to keep it in control, and the crashed on a tree, we quickly got out of the car, Lorenzo informed Jackson to call for backup and told Jackson to go and arrange a car for us. While he went in the lead to fight alone with the attackers; but there were too many, I saw that he wasn't able handle all of them at the same time, so I told Juliana that I will go and help Lorenzo . She agreed, also I told her to stay near the tree only, so I could find her back. Giving a last glance to Juliana, I removed my gun and went to help Lorenzo.

'Where is m..?' he didn't complete his sentence as I interpreted him
'She near the tree and she is safe' I said him
'Ohh' he mouthed
'Yeah. Are your men on their way?' I asked him, shooting a men
'Yeah, they are. Will be here in any second' he said killing other 2 men with his hands. Later, Lorenzo scanned around to count how many people he left alive. We almost killed all leaving a few, but still the backup isn't here. When I looked behind, just to check, they were here, Lorenzo's men were were here finally, as soon as they came they started fighting,
'Took you all too long to come..' says Lorenzo taunting them and I rose myself from the ground and grabbed my gun which fell from my hand few minutes ago.
'Lorenzo' I called out his name
'My, don't call my name when I am fighting' he said chuckled darkly, raised his hand in air to stop me from saying anything further
'Go check in her' ordered Lorenzo
'And you!' I asked
Jackson came as well, resting his sniper on his shoulder. He is the most accurate sharp shooter in the gang, of course after Michel obviously. Yes Michel isn't available, as he went to France for some work.
He said, 'Boss, you go and check upon the Queen(implying on Juliana)' we will handle everything here, he said confidently. Lorenzo nod him and we went to check upon Juliana.
We went to the tree where I told her to wait for us, and never in my worst nightmare I expected to see this what I just now, she down on the ground, her body was in support of the tree, in a pool full of blood, it was her, someone shoot her badly, thrice in her body, i was so shocked seeing her in this situation, I didn't know what to do, all that came out of my mouth was 'Who did this?'
When Lorenzo took her in his arms and put her in the car, i sat too, she lay on my laps, and tears started flowed down my eyes, she was in so much pain, yet didn't say anything or complained about it, I can't see her like this, I told Lorenzo to drive faster to reach home before anything unexpected happens,
'Just don't let her close her eyes. Keep her awake' says Lorenzo
'I am trying' I said him
'Mom mom, look at me. Stay awake please' I said her moving her face to keep her awake
'Mom stay awake please' said Lorenzo and that caught her attention, she coughed a little and spoke up, 'Did you just call me mom, Lorenzo?' asked Juliana
'Yes yes mom. Please stay awake, stay with me please. I can't lose you please' says Lorenzo with a heavy heart. I know he is not expressing much, but he is scared to lose Juliana at this point of movement. When the movement finally came, what she was yearning to hear from his mouth form years was here, he called Juliana, mom after years, but in this situation.
'Stay awake okay' says Lorenzo but slowly her eyes were closing, thought I tried to keep her awake, she's wasn't able to keep them open for long, her eye was blinking slowly, forcing them to not close

30 minutes later-
30 minutes later they reached home, Lorenzo stopped the car at entrance and got out of the car, he opened Arlyn's side of door where Juliana was laying; Arlyn moved aside so Lorenzo could pick Juliana up, but she wasn't rest to come out,
'It's okay, my time has come now. It's of no point now for me to go inside' says Juliana
'No, I am fucking not letting you die mom' says Lorenzo and tear came flowed down his eye
'I am accepting it Lorenzo, my time is finished now. I have to go' says Juliana
'No, you aren't going anywhere. I won't let you go' argued Lorenzo
'Don't argue with me Lorenzo, be..because you won't win' says Juliana coughing after every sentence
'Let's go inside mom, hold on to me' says Lorenzo but she doesn't
'I am happy to hear mom form your mouth. Thank you for calling me mom. I hope you forgive me one day thinking that it was not my fault that Lex died' says Juliana breathing heavily
'I forgive you mom. I forgive you. It was never your fault okay. I was the one who wasn't ready to accept it, I was being to stubborn towards you, I am sorry' says Lorenzo
'Don't be' says Juliana
I was happy to see that Lorenzo was able to speak his heart out to Juliana, the moment was too precious and at the same time too sad, I spoke up too,
'Please don't speak further and let us take you inside. Don't be stubborn mom' I said
'I am not being stubborn..i..I am being practical right now, till I reach inside I might die, I am left with only a few minutes, so let me speak' says Juliana. Was she wrong at that movement? No, she was right, she has very less time left, her waist was still bleeding but yet not caring about the pain, she wanted to talk to us. She hold Arlyn's hand and spoke 'you..you were the best thing that has happened to Lorenzo. Remember that you are his happiness, his first and will be his last love. You were the one who retired everything to sort out my and Lorenzo's issues and yuh were successful, Thank you for never giving upon it. Thank you for everything dear. I love you, stay strong!' says Julian making Arlyn more emotional
'Please stay' says Arlyn and then suddenly she breathed more heavily, her body moving up and down, she out her hand in Lorenzo and hit her close to him and whispered something in his when stayed unknown to me forever,
'If you are going to hurt her, then let her go now' whispers Juliana and continues 'I love you my boy and I am proud of what you have become now' says Juliana. Lorenzo was shocked hearing those words but also whispered i her ear 'I will do the right thing by her' says Lorenzo  and continues 'I Love you too Mom' says Lorenzo, she heard it and closed her eyes for the final time..and just like that she was gone, gone from our lives.

Next day-
The whole O'Dare Mansion was mourning Juliana's dad, including her followers and all. Juliana's parents came, so did Lorenzo's grandparents(Lex's parents) had to come too. Not Lorenzo tired to make a conversation with him nor did Roman tried anything from his side, they made their distances as they know it would be pointless if they started a conversation because they will end up fighting, specially Lorenzo; the anger he has for Roman will never finish until he kills him with his own bear hands. Samuel wasn't even able to digest the fact that her mother is no more, he hugged David all night crying and eventually slept. Whereas David, poor guy he didn't even have anyone to share his feelings or pain with, but he stood by Samuel and consoled him. Lorenzo and Arlyn didn't l ave the O'Dare Mansion, Arlyn was mourning Juliana's death alone in her and Lorenzo's room. Whereas Lorenzo locked himself in Juliana's room; missing her, crying in pain, yes he didn't wanted anyone to see him in this situation. A day passed by, none of them bothered to disturb each other!!

Funeral day

Arlyn got ready and so did other family members, so she went to check upon him, she was about to knock the door but it was already opened, so she went inside and saw that Lorenzo was fixing his tie, she went to him and asked,
'Ready?' He nod his head in a yes . She made him wear his coat and, 'let's go' she said putting her hand locking by his, and they walk out of the room!

So here it is,
Juliana is gone, she is dead and that made a big loss for the O'Dare family!!
