"Okay, calm down, 'by. Let's scour the whole place, baka naman may mga security pang umaaligid. Imposible namang wala," Kenny suggested while trying to calm her wife down.

"Kenny's right. Meron naman sigurong nag-babantay dito kahit sa gabi. Tsaka di naman siguro nila tayo iiwan ng ganun-ganun lang?" Kai seconded.

"'Wag na tayo mag-hiwalay para pag may nahanap na tayong tao, sama-sama na tayo," Sasha suggested.

The other ladies nodded. Kenny and Zoe held hands as they led the way.

Sasha and Kai's hands also automatically held on to each other like they have magnets that attracted them to attach to each one's hands. Then they followed close to the couple.

After searching almost every corner of the island and finding no other visitor or staff member, Kenny took a deep breath. By then, Zoe was already having a panic attack.

"Hey, calm down. We'll call somebody," Kai reached for Zoe's hand, but her other hand didn't let go of Sasha.

"I'll try to call customer service to let them know naiwan tayo dito," Kenny informed them. Then she stepped to the side and tried to contact a representative from Alcatraz that could hopefully help them.

"Let's stay here, okay? I'm sure may makakausap si Kenny na could get us out of here," Kai pulled Zoe and Sasha inside one of buildings that housed the cell blocks. It had started pouring with lightning and thunder in the background. The waves crashed onto the rock so hard that it made Zoe feel like the whole place is going to be swallowed up by the ocean.

"I can't contact them. Mahina signal dito," Kenny approached her friends.

"Crap. It must be the storm," Zoe worried. "Let's call 911? We can still call them kahit walang signal, diba?"

Kenny looked at her wife then at Kai and Sasha for confirmation. "We can try," Kai nodded.

"Are you guys sure? Is this considered an emergency?" Kenny had to make sure.

"'B, of course! We're stuck in an island—in this abandoned prison, and we have no way to get ourselves back at the pier. They must have a way to get to us. There has to be," Zoe was frantic by now.

"Okay, okay. Relax. I just thought—what can they do for us if ganito yung panahon? I'm going to call still—for everybody's peace of mind," Kenny reasoned.

"Don't take no for an answer. We can't stay here overnight," Zoe was starting to get frustrated.

Kenny looked at her while she tried to call 911. Kai and Sasha did their best to comfort her wife.

"911, what's your emergency?" The operator said when Kenny was able to get through.

"Hi, hi—my name is Kenny. My wife and I and two of our friends are here in Alcatraz, and we think our boat left us by accident," Kenny explained. The rest of the women listened to their conversation.

"You said you're stuck in Alcatraz? And there's four of you?" The operator repeated.

"Yes. I don't think anyone is coming back for us. The people that work here are also gone. No security either. We already searched the whole island," Kenny confirmed. Even she was getting nervous.

"There's no night watchman either?" The operator asked.

"No. I mean—if he's here, he hasn't made his presence known. We didn't see anyone, so if he's here, we don't know where he is," Kenny answered.

"Okay, let me check on something, but stay on the line with me. Don't hang up, okay?" The operator instructed.

"Okay," Kenny replied then she looked at her friends.
