"After" in real life
The Wattpad-based movie "After". When I first watched it I didn't like it as much because I didn't understand it, and I've never gone through any relationship issues.
Now that I've gotten into the dating field.
I can admit that I resonate with that couple too well.
What couple? Tessa & Hardin.
Watching the movies over again for a second time from a perspective that I'm now a part of was very hard to watch.
The constant arguing.
Constant tears.
The constant stress.
Constant break ups.
Constantly getting back together just to fight and break up all over again.
The only difference between us is I've had all of that in one year.
They've had it for years.
I had this toxic cycle in just one year of dating someone.
It took me to rewatch after to realize I was living my own "after" in real life. -J.S.
