Your sweet little girl is still here somewhere buried inside of me.
Your sweet little girl is still here.
She's just tired now mama.
Mentally she's tired.
Emotionally she's tired.
Physically she's tired.
The woman she has become now is tired.
I'm sure the sweet little girl you once knew is still here.
She's just tired.
She's angry.
She's overwhelmed.
She's drained.
She's tired of getting her feelings hurt.
So, yes she has turned a little cold.
She finally realized that her smile may shine on the world, but that didn't mean the world's smile would shine on her.
In fact it was quite the opposite.
The world took her smile away from her.
People have dimmed her light.
People have killed her spirit.
Her innocence has faded away little by little.
Her caring heart is getting stoned piece by piece.
And she's just tired mama.
Mama your sweet little girl is tired.
She's tired of being sweet in such a bitter world.
