Prioritized

I get it we all have lives.

I'm a college student.

I have virtual therapy sessions.

I have a job.

I worked two jobs and juggled seven college courses before.

But I still made time for my friends and family members when I could.

I have my busy days.

I have my low days.

I have my dark days. So I don't trip if the communication isn't there with the ones I care for and want to be in my life.

I just understand that we all have priorities.

We all have responsibilities.

But at the end of the day, we choose the numbers on our lists that we want certain friends or certain family members to be on.

And I've always been last on the list.

Or was never even considered on the list.

I just wanted to be treated like a priority by those I prioritized. -J.S.
