I couldn't love you in the way you needed to be loved.
I could only love you in the way that I knew how to love. And that still wasn't enough for you.
I tried to understand the way that you needed to be loved. But I failed miserably.
My love wasn't enough for you.
And often it was unclear if your love was genuine for me.
I guess we both failed at loving each other.
But that doesn't mean either of us are unlovable.
We just didn't know how to love one another.
I wish you well though. I hope you find someone that can love you better than me. -J.S.
