It's not easy to write. Sobrang daming pagdadaanan. Imagine magkaka-idea ka, magre-research, magsusulat, magre-revise pa, i-o-overcome mo pa yung fear of criticism, may possibility pa nga na manakaw mga gawa mo, tatamaan ka pa ng doubt and fear asking yourself, "para sa akin ba talaga 'to?"
It's not easy to write. Tatamarin ka, maiinggit, 'di masusuportahan ng family and friends mo, maba-bash, magkakaroon ng other problems, unstable pa ang mental health, at magiging overly critical madalas sa mga sinusulat mo.
Kaya I hope, kahit tingin mo ang bagal ng usad mo, you still appreciate yourself for taking small steps. You deserve that. Small steps are progress and the fact that you had the courage to write in the first place is already a win.
It's not easy to write and be persistent in honing your skill. I-congratulate mo sarili mo na nandito ka pa rin having the courage to share your gift to the world despite all. Uplift yourself. May you accompany yourself in this writing process. Be compassionate. Hindi naman kailangang magmadali. Just relax. Don't beat yourself up. Drop the pressure. Drop the expectations. Write on your own pace. Dahan-dahan lang. Just enjoy. Huminga ka. Kahit mabagal, tuloy lang. Someday, mahahawakan din ng kamay mo 'yong mga libro mo at sasabihin mo sa sarili mo, "buti na lang pinaglaban ko."
