Maraming writers na uncomfortable i-share voice nila kasi natatakot sila sa fact na anyone can interpret their words. When you are writing kasi, readers will interpret your words differently. They come from different walks of life kasi, then iba-iba state of mind nila, iba-iba upringing nila, iba-iba nasasagap nilang information daily. Yung iba nga, they can interpret your words in a negative way and sometimes, they can't separate your characters from you. Kaya ang nangyayari, imbes na mag-share ang writers ng works nila, tinatago na lang nila. They are afraid to be interpreted that way. Madalas naman, it's about having a low self-esteem.

As a writer, isa 'to sa mga bagay na dapat ka nang masanay. It's your voice and 'yang voice mong 'yan, katulad din nila, may pinanggagalingan. Panindigan mo voice mo, sundin mo, at ilaban mo. Huwag kang matakot sa kung ano iisipin o sasabihin ng iba. Or else, para kang pinapatay if you're holding something back that needs to be expressed. Besides, may inner voice ka rin naman na magiging guide mo sa creative journey mo. Trust and follow it.

Following your voice, siyempre, importante pa rin na well-informed ka sa mga ibinabahagi mo through your written works. Kasi as a writer, may factors ka pa rin namang dapat i-consider, like for example, kung controversial ang topic na sinusulat mo. Make sure to take your time in researching because your writing, always remember, could affect someone's life.

You have to be comfortable with being interpreted when you write, be open, and don't take it personally. Because just like them, you also have something you can learn from your readers. Considering your readers' insights is beneficial to your growth. Appreciate them for taking the time to help you. The community is give-and-take, but don't forget to affirm some boundaries related to your creative process. But for now, kailangan mong turuan ang sarili mo na pagkatiwalaan ang boses na meron ka. Build that inner confidence to continue sharing your voice, whatever it takes. Write boldly.
