Eddie hadn't spoken to or seen Priscilla since their argument. Priscilla assumed it was because Eddie just needed to blow off some steam and he'd come around in a few days. But after several days passed and there was no indication that Eddie was going to come around any time soon, Priscilla started to worry. It was unusual for him to not call or show up at Robin's unexpectedly.

What she didn't know was that Eddie had finally had enough. After thinking things over, Eddie had decided to put his foot down and distance himself from Priscilla. Their relationship was feeling far too familiar to his failed ones in the past. He had grown tired of always feeling like he was in second place all the time. He truly thought Priscilla was going to be the one to change his mind about love, but now he was thinking he was right all along: love doesn't exist.

Over in the Buckley household, Priscilla began to worry. She had limited time left here in Hawkins and she didn't want to leave on bad terms with anyone, especially Eddie. She started to think that maybe she should reach out to him and try to make amends. But then, her mind started telling her that was a stupid idea. If Eddie truly wanted to fix things, he would have reached out by now, right?

"Let's try calling him." Robin suggested, hoping some encouragement from her would push Priscilla to finally just talk to Eddie about this already. "It won't hurt to at least try, right?"

Priscilla shrugged. "I guess not."

Although Priscilla truly wasn't sure if she agreed with Robin. Would calling him make things better? Would he be willing to talk? Could she explain herself and pull herself out of the grave she had dug?

She followed Robin into the kitchen where the phone was. Robin picked up the phone and held it over to Priscilla who just stared down at it in Robin's hand. Her stomach felt like it was twisting inside her like the coiled wire of the phone. It was just a phone call. What could really go wrong?

"I can't do it." Priscilla stated, still staring at the pale yellow phone in Robin's hand. "You call." Priscilla pushed Robin's hand away from her. "Dial the number and hold it up so we can both listen, but you do the talking. I'm too nervous."

Robin rolled her eyes but obliged. She dialed Eddie's number and held the phone up in between her and Priscilla so they could both hear the ringing tone as they waited for someone to answer on the other end.

"Hello?"

Robin and Priscilla shared a quick glance as they realized it wasn't Eddie. "Uh, hey Mr. Munson!" Robin's tone went up an octave as she spoke. "It's Robin. Is Eddie home?"

"Uh..." Wayne droned, the sound of his voice growing softer and then louder again. The girls could tell he was looking around to see if Eddie was home. It was no secret that Wayne often didn't have a clue when Eddie was home and when he wasn't. "Sorry Robin, I don't think he's home right now. I thought I remembered him saying something earlier about going to see that cheerleader girl, uh... Chrissy?"

At the sound of Chrissy's name, Priscilla's stomach dropped like she was on a rollercoaster ride and she felt like it was going to fall right out of her body. "Holy shit..." She whispered, eyeing Robin.

"What was that?" Wayne said on the other end.

"Nothing!" Robin recovered. "Can you just tell Eddie I called when you see him?"

"Will do." Wayne replied. "You have a good day, now."

When the line went dead, Robin slowly placed the receiver down and looked over at Priscilla apologetically. "'Scilla... I'm sorry..."

Priscilla swallowed the lump that was rising in her throat. "Do you... Do you really think he would do that? Do you really think he would call Chrissy up just because we got into an argument?"
