Realisation (14th)

3rd person pov~~

Naruto was standing on the door, waiting for Hinata.
Well, it's been a good 5 minutes since he is waiting.
The dress he gave to Hinata is not what you call a fancy one. It's a half-sleeved purple top and just black cargo pants.
He kinda guessed that Hinata might didn't wanted to wear that sweaty dress so he brought it.
He didn't have to think about money cause the woman at the clothes store gave it to him for free cause well according to her Naruto was handsome.
In this small village every handsome man gets treated for free or thats what the shop owner said. [ Naruto's current look in the story. The picture above^^]
Naruto currently is wearing a black Cloak which goes down to his knees. And inside that there is only black top and black pants with black shinobi scandals.
His thoughts were interrupted by a certain Girl who was none other that Hinata.
She came closer and said,
"Should we go like this?"
Naruto totally checked Hinata for once she is not well dressed but she looked beautiful in his eyes. He kept that in his mind.
"Well, nobody knows who I am cause I am a missing nin for one year. Also, I don't think they are gonna recognise you but I would say that you should put a cover for your eyes. I mean the Byakugan can draw us some attention and I don't want that." Naruto said as Hinata nodded as a yes.
She closed her eyes and held her hand up making handsign for transformation jutsu.
'You have grown, Naruto-kun.' was all she thought in her mind as she completed her eyes transformation.
Naruto noticed her eyes as she opened them.
'Oh... Kami she looks cute.' was all that he thought. Before he could complete his staring he felt his cheeks heat up so he looked away.

Hinata noticed this as she asked him,
"Is this okay, Naruto-kun?"
Naruto felt his cheeks heat up more so he nodded.
'Why she have to call my name like that?' He said in his mind and mentally slapped himself for acting childish.
He walked and Hinata followed. Soon they reached a small market which was well decorated. Anyone can guess that there was a festival going around.
Before entering Hinata called Naruto and he stopped in his track.
She kinda has a feeling that Naruto is avoiding her. He called her and now he is avoiding her. This is not fair. So, she has all the right to know what happened or thats what she thought.
"Naruto-kun, what happened? Are you avoiding me?" She asked a little anger mixed in her voice.
"Ah...." Naruto became surprised but he needed to answer her questions before everything mess up.
"Well.... You know Hinata.... I kinda ummm....." He scratched his neck.
"I kinda miss your real eyes but also I found your new eyes very cute. You look cute with them. I couldn't help but stare at you. I thought it would make you uncomfortable that's why I... Well you know......" Naruto said blushing on his cheeks as he looked away.
'He thinks I am cute.' That was enough for Hinata to blush crazy.
"Umm.... Let's go.... shall we?" He said as she nodded.
There was a complete uncomfortable silence between them so Naruto brought up a topic and Hinata continued the conversation.
Naruto cracked some unnecessary lame jokes which made Hinata laugh.
'She looks beautiful even while laughing.' That's what he thought.
"Do you wanna buy something?" He asked.
"No, I don't need anything." Hinata replied.
"Well, how about we play some games." Naruto suggested and Hinata nodded.
They played some game as Naruto won her a scarf. She carried it with her.
They ate lunch and decided to carry on their journey.
There was mountain beside the village and both went there.
They sat in complete silence. It was comfortable. None of them felt the need to talk. It was late afternoon. They were sitting on the grass and the wind slowly went to it's destination.
That was the time when Naruto's mind became clouded with many questions.
The first thing came up to his mind was those boys who tried to hit on Hinata while they were walking down by the market.
He could kill them at that moment but somehow controlled himself. His glare was enough to scare the shit out of them.
But the most important question was what effects does Hinata has on him? Was she a friend? Ofcourse she was. But there is something more for him.
Naruto thought about it deeply.
He was determined to his goal. The goal of bringing peace to the shinobi world. A big goal which he promised to succeed.
But, whenever he saw Hinata he felt something else. Just being with her made him quite peaceful. He didn't wanted to go anywhere. If someone gave him a task to sit somewhere for a whole day he would definitely give up in 30 minutes but If Hinata was there he could do it for infinity or thats what he thought.
Something about Hinata was different. He knew it when he kissed her. Was it a minor crush like he had on Sakura? No, it can't be. It was more than a crush and it was more than liking.
So, what is it? Can't he spend his life without her? The image of pain killing her popped in his mind. It sent shivers down by his spine.
He had felt his tears coming out from his eyes whenever he imagined that. So he stopped.
He was right, he can't even imagine his life without her. No, Never.
So, what did he wanted?
He glanced at Hinata by the corner of his eyes. She is beautiful.
He smiled. What if he wanted a home with her.
Realisation hit him. Beside that big goal in his life, the greatest desire of his heart was to get a home and get a family. Where he can return to without thinking of anything.
Does he wanted Hinata to be a part of his family? Of course, he wanted.
Who else could manage to be his wife??
'Wife?????' He almost choked inside as he thought that.
Why the heck she would be his wife? He hasn't even confessed his love to her and......
'Love!!!!' He choked again inside his mind. Did he loved her????? He again looked at Hinata.
She has undid her transformation long ago. Her face is like gold under the dim sunlight. Her hair... It was perfect. Her eyes, her face everything was perfect.
How can he not love her? Ofcourse he does. She was there when nobody was. She helped him in many situations. She cared for him. He even remembers how she gave him that ointment during the chunin Exam.
He adored her and he loved her. He always have. He just never gave it a thought or never felt the need.
He looked back at the sky. It was orange. The sun is in the horizon. The sky is orange around the sun and the rest of it was purple. Perfect time for them.
"Hinata......" Naruto called in a deeper voice than usual.
Hinata looked at him with curiosity with in her eyes.
"What?" She said softly.
"If I ask you one question would you answer?" Naruto asked.
Hinata couldn't read his expression so she nodded.
"Did you really meant what you said when you came to save me from pain? Also, was it the same reason why you came here, to me?" He asked.
Hinata's eyes widened as she realised what he is talking about.
"Naruto-kun, why are you bringing this......" She couldn't finish.
"Yes or no."
Hinata sighed as she looked down at her lap.
"Yes." Was all that she can say.
"Well then.... I have something to say to you too." Naruto said and looked at the sky.
Hinata looked at him with curiosity.
"Thank you for everything that you have done for me." He started.
"Naruto-kun....."
"Let me finish first." Naruto placed his index over Hinata's lips which caused her blush. He again looked at the sky.
"As I was saying, thank you for being there when nobody was. You may think that I never noticed you but I always did. I know you always checked on me." It kinda cause hinata to blush more as she knew that he knew.
"When I came back to the village and you fainted, don't mind but I kinda found in funny. Well after that I always kept an eye on you. Which is kinda funny though." Naruto chuckled as Hinata became surprised as she heard him.
"But before I could realise why I checked on you everything changed. Pain attacked the village and the villagers kicked me out. I was hurt so I never thought about my feelings. I was so determined to my goal that I forgot about myself. I couldn't see the future ahead for me. I was kinda turning into a heartless ninja." Hinata actually lost clue of everything.
"But I didn't knew that God would send you to save me again." He chuckled again.
"All the time I spent with you made me realise that I have human emotions left inside me and I am not a heartless ninja. That's why thank you. Whenever I see you I see my future inside you, do you wanna know why?" Naruto asked as he moved his gaze towards Hinata.
"Why.....?" Hinata asked.
Naruto slowly held Hinata's hand.
She looked down at his hand and then looked at him.
"Because......"
He looked deeply at Hinata.
"Because, I love you Hinata." He said with a soft smile.
Hinata couldn't feel anything. Everyone froze around her. The only thing visible to her was those blue pairs. She drowned in them and this time in so deep that she can never get out.
Unknown to her she gripped Naruto's hand by both of her.
"Say it again." She said as she couldn't believe her ears.
Naruto placed a hand over her cheek and said it again,
"I love you Hinata. I always have."
Hinata couldn't hold anymore as hot water drops fell down by her cheeks and Naruto's hand.
She quickly hugged Naruto and he hugged her back. She slowly cried in Naruto's embrace and he let her.
She stopped and pulled back. Their faces were still close.
"I love you too, Naruto-kun." She said.
Naruto smiled as his gaze moved towards her lips.
He leaned in and so does she.
Their lips touched and it danced together.
Soon they pulled away and both of them were blushing like idiots.
Naruto slowly grabbed Hinata's shoulders and pulled her closer. He covered her with his cloak and she placed her head over his shoulders. He slowly placed his head over her and they sat in silence.
"Looks like the sky is celebrating for us."
"Looks like it."
They looked at the orange and purple mixture in the sky.
