After Taehyun had abruptly interrupted the kiss, everything seemed to be going so quick to Beomgyu. Next thing he knew, he was downstairs about to convince Soobin to let him go home with someone aka- yeonjun.

Obviously he had to convince the boy, and he was afraid it wouldn't work but he was gonna try his hardest. He ignored the slight tipsiness he felt and walked up to the boy was still seated, giggling away while talking to the same boy.

Yeonjun walked past beomgyu, pretending like he didn't know him as he went outside to wait in his car. just like how they planned only a moment before.

Soobin stared at the younger with a bright smile, his cheeks a bit red from the alcohol.
"That was a long bathroom break wasn't it?" he suddenly questioned, his eyebrows furrowing slightly. Beomgyu let out a small laugh and nodded, "Sorry, got distracted.. uhm can i go home with someone?" he asked all of a sudden.

Soobins eyes widened slightly at the question, he didn't even pay attention to the boy he was speaking to now. "Who?? Is it someone you know?" he crossed his arms as beomgyu hummed, "Duh, i wouldn't go with a stranger."

Soobin smiled slightly and shrugged, "How do you know them then?"

Beomgyu hesitated to answer which might've been his biggest mistake. Because Soobin smiled as if he had caught Beomgyu right in his lie.
The younger let out an awkward laugh, "ah you know~ i met him a while back when i went to the school to get some work..."

'aha that'll work definitely!' he thought to himself, maybe the alcohol was giving him false confidence but that didnt stop him from trying to convince him.
Soobin hummed and shrugged his shoulders again. "Okay gyu.. im trusting you, don't be up to anything stupid." beomgyu smiled so brightly and nodded, giving his friend a big hug before starting to walk away. "i'll call you!"

The two had arrived to Yeonjuns home after a pretty quiet drive. Obviously they both had been thinking hard about the kiss.
Yeonjun opened the front door for Beomgyu, who quickly walked inside- glancing around the empty place when he was surprised by hands suddenly on his waist.

Yeonjun back hugged him, resting his chin gently on his shoulder. "is it bad how much i missed you..?" beomgyu smiled to himself, feeling his face get warm before he quickly hid his smile.
"it hasn't been that long.." he mumbled, though he was feeling the exact same way.

Beomgyu hesitantly turned around and wrapped his arms around yeonjuns neck to hug him.
He looked into his eyes and suddenly felt emotional, weirdly. There was this voice in the back of his mind constantly reminding him that this was not real and he would have to leave soon.
He wanted to sob. But he figured he should just take all this in.. even if it was just a big dream or whatever it was.

He was in love with Yeonjun. A character in the book.. a book he somehow appeared in— who he'd never see again.
He got too immersed in his own emotions he even forgot this couldn't be real.

"I missed you too though." he mumbled as he gently caressed the side of yeonjuns face. 'but he feels so real... how is he not?'

he didn't want to accept it now. he had to be with this boy no matter what, and he would figure out a way. He had to.

Yeonjun yawned softly, before pulling the other closer to him as he placed a small kiss on his cheek. "Are you tired too?"
beomgyu nodded, his thoughts being elsewhere. he decided to push them away and told himself he'd figure it out later.

"It's late.. can we sleep?" the younger asked softly, feeling like he could pass out in any moment. Yeonjun quickly nodded his head and suddenly, picked Beomgyu up- bridal style to which he gasped in surprise at.
