The Couple At No. 9
This is a summary and review of the 2021 novel, winner of the Best International Novel, and written by british author Claire Douglas.
The novel introduces married couple Saffron and Tom, who decide to move to a retired home in the country, that belonged to Saffron's grandmother. But, unexpectedly, the people working in the gardenfind two bodies of deceased people. So now, Saffy, Tom and her mother, Lorna, will have to find out the mystery, and question her grandmother about the bodies, who also suffers from dementia.
I think this novel is exciting, thrilling, full of mystery and suspense. It has a nice plot and alluring characters. I would highlight all the aspects of the novel, in general, because it's really well written and thought out. I definitely recommend this production to all people and readers, because it is really intriguing, entertaining and enjoyable.
