POV:Saiki Kusuo
T: Mrs. Saiki, would it be okay if I go to the hatsumode with Kusuo?
M: Sure thing, but make sure he doesn't get lost.
S: I'm not a child.
...
And now I'm dragged here once again by Teruhashi.
T: Isn't this fun.
S: Sure.
Fun for her because now the shrine is filled with Oh... sounds because of Teruhashi.
T: Come on, let's go say our wishes.
As soon as we arrive in front of the shrine, Teruhashi turned to me.
T: Don't try to read my mind.
S: You know I can't control it right?
T: Oh, I forgot. At least don't address it and pretend you don't hear it.
S: Alright.
I rang the shrine bell, clapped my hands twice and wished,
"I wish my life remains peaceful."
I am 99% sure it won't happen because I've been wishing for it every year and nothing went right for me, so now Im doing it out of habit.
And then I hear Teruhashi voicing her wish.
"I wish for Saiki to say Oh...,"
Of course.
"And I get to stay happy with Saiki."

POV:Teruhashi Kokomi
As soon as I finished saying my wish, I checked if Saiki was done. But I see Saiki looking away from me. And I know he only does it because he doesn't want me to see him blu-
He heard what I said.
I started hitting Saiki in embarrassed frustration while he still looks away from me.
POV: Saiki Kusuo
When we walked away from the shrine, Kaidou managed to find us, with a stupidly long scarf that's dragging on the floor.
Shun Kaido: Oh, Saiki and...
K: Oh...Teruhashi-san.
S: I'm surprised he called my name before yours.
T: You are his close friend after all.
S: Ugh.
K: Where are your parents, Saiki?
I looked back to where my parents are, close enough that it's obvious that they were watching us, but far enough that they were flirting with each other. And I looked back at Kaidou. Kaidou followed my stare and understood immediately.
K: Anyway, what are you two doing here by yourselves?
Teruhashi almost started to panic but I immediately stopped her.
S: *Say what you always say.*
T: *Oh, OK.*
T: We just met each other on when we were both on the way here.
K: I see.
S: *Also, tell him to make his wishes.*
T: *You're being thoughtful?*
S: *No, I want him to go away.*
T: *I thought so.*
T: Kaidou-kun, have you wished at the shrine yet?
He started laughing boastfully.
K: God can wait, he's supposed to be the one going to me.
T: Excuse me?
K: Nothing nothing.
He waddled shyly to the shrine to say his wishes and once he's far enough,
T: I'm surprised that excuse worked every single time.
S: Don't be, you're Teruhashi.
T: What does that imply?
S: I'm not telling. And I've also said it before,
And we both look to Kaidou that almost fell of the shrine steps because of the scarf.
S: Everyone we know is stupid.
She did not respond, and probably silently agreeing to some extent.
Hairo Kineshi: Yo, Saiki, Teruhashi.
T: Oh, Hairo-kun.
And we see Hairo standing before us, wearing a T shirt and shorts despite the cold weather.
K: Hairo!
H: Yo, Kaidou-kun.
H: I was going to say my wish until I saw you guys. And Teruhashi,
T: Yes?
H: This is the second time I see you and Saiki together.
T: Eh?
K: What do you mean, Hairo?
Great.
T: *Saiki, help!*
Good grief.
?: OH, GUYS!!!
We hear a deep voice and stomping sounds getting louder and louder. It's Nendou.
Riki Nendou: What are you guys doing here?
K: It's the New Year, Nendou.
N: It's the New Year? If that's the case, I might as well say my wish at the shrine.
H: Nendou wait, I'll come with you!
K: Hold on!
Kaidou wanted to stop Hairo but he already was far ahead.
K: So Teruhashi-san, what was Hairo talking abou-
N: WHY CANT I GET THIS MONEY!
We hear Nendou trying to take the shrine money, and his hand is now stuck on the opening
H: Nendou, what are you doing?!
K: OI, YOU BIG IDIOT!!!
Kaidou ran to Nendou to stop, cutting the conversation short.
T: Did you lure Nendou here?
S: I had to.
After a few minutes, the three of them were done saying their wishes.
K: If we didn't stop you, you wouldve been banned from the shrine.
D: Oh, it's you kids!
Oh no.
K: Mr. and Mrs. Saiki!
It's nice to see you kids again.
M: You kids want to go our house like last time?
H: If we're not troubling you, then.. .
M: Oh you couldn't be.
N: Sure!
H: Sounds good then
