"I can't thank you enough for this," Y/N shed tears of joy while bowing in deep thanks to a first-year, Hori's friend from her biology class.

With the help of her friends Y/N managed to show her face at school again. However, everything had gone as she expected; whispers when she walked down the hall, people laughing while she sat through classes, and someone even started leaving soda cans at her locker. Another thing was that the video had yet to be forgotten about, the students in her class never failing to watch it at least a few times a day. During lunch Y/N found herself hiding in shame in one of the classrooms on the third floor, Kyo and Hori joining their friend.

"I wish the satellites would just explode already," Y/N had been moping. Kyo kept telling her that people will soon forget about everything by this weekend because of the class field trip. "Have you signed up by the way? Money and forms are due by the end of last period."

Y/N picked at her food with her chopsticks, biting her cheek with a frown, "My dad said it was too expensive, so I'm not going." Kyo gaped at her with food still in her mouth, "What are you talking about? You have to go. It's the best field trip of the year and everyone goes."

"It's over two hundred dollars," Y/N sighed and thought about how thin her wallet has been looking. Kyo didn't press the conversation but chomped at her food with a scowl. Hori had been texting away on her phone almost the whole time, making Y/N poke her shoulder, "Everything okay Hori?" The first-year hummed, finally looking up at Y/N with a small smile, "I know someone who could help with that video."

"No worries! A friend of Hori-chan is a friend of mine." He was a wimpy looking boy with messy brown hair but had a sweet smile, Ren Hanahaki. The girls sat in the science lab with him for the rest of lunch, Y/N intrigued that Hori had a friend in her own year. It was an odd sight for Kyo though. Midway through conversation and only ten minutes till the bell rang, Y/N's phone buzzed. "The guys are looking for us," Hori suddenly went cold and said there was no point in them coming and Kyo shrugged in agreement, "We'll see them in class."

Kyo and Y/N walked off on their own to class while Hori left with Ren. When Y/N sat down next to Osamu he scooted his chair closer, "Where were you?" Y/N could tell he was a bit hurt that she didn't spend any time with him, "Sorry Samu, we were with Hori's friend in the science lab. He helped take down the video for good." He hummed but still pouted, leaning his chin onto his hand. Y/N couldn't help the small laugh that escaped her, pinching his cheek in a playful manner, "I'll have lunch with you tomorrow." He smiled at her and leaned into her touch, "Just me?" The way his voice was just above a whisper and how his lidded gray eyes trailed from her eyes down to her lips made Y/N's heart pound inside her chest, "J-Just you." The way she stuttered and tried to regain her composure with a silly smile made him laugh softly. Osamu wanted to step over the fine line of friendship but before he could speak another word the teacher had begun his lesson. The rest of the afternoon dragged on, everyone staring at the clock as it ticked each minute till the bell eventually rang. "Reminder everyone today is the last day for forms and payments for the field trip! Have a good rest of your day."

"Since they canceled practice this week do you wanna go to the park or something?" Osamu watched as Y/N was shoving the last of her notes into her backpack while he waited. She checked a message on her phone before answering him, "Sorry Samu but I had requested an extra shift and they just approved it. I actually need to go." She had a sorry smile, "I'll call you later tonight though."

"Hiya L/N, how come you're here so early?" Kiyoshi leaned over the counter with his big curious eyes watching Y/N fix her hair under her cap. "Didn't have practice today and your dad had mentioned being short staffed this week."

It had been a slow day and so far no deliveries. Y/N and Kiyoshi sat in a booth during their break and munched on wings and pizza. "I know this will sound kind of harsh, but do you do anything else besides work here?" Y/N had never seen Kiyoshi out of uniform before and wondered if he had a life outside of Sato's Pizza and being homeschooled. The boy laughed, "I hang around here and there, but I don't really have anyone to have fun with and the only time I see you is here so," he shrugged, "I don't mind working so much." Y/N felt pity as she looked at him, realizing he was just like her when she was younger. She couldn't help but feel bad for hanging with her friends while she kept him in the dark for so long because she was embarrassed of working. "Let's do something then, besides eating pizza and wings." Kiyoshi's eyes lit up, "You mean that?"

"Of course! We can go to an arcade or something, whatever you want."

The bell chimed and alerted them that they had new customers. Y/N didn't bother turning around since they still had 10 mins on their break, however, when she noticed Kiyoshi's stare over her shoulder she couldn't help but to follow his gaze. "W-What are you guys doing here?"

Kyo, Hori, and the twins had walked in. "Since you can't hang with us we figured we'd just come to you," Kyo walked towards them first and the rest followed. Y/N smiled wide and stood up to trap Kyo in a hug, "You guys are the best." Kyo pried Y/N off with a playful roll of her eyes, "Yeah whatever, just get us some pizzas and wings, everything on me."

Kiyoshi was only a foot away but still felt like he was watching behind a glass window, like this wasn't his place to be. So he slid past the group and figured he would finish his lunch early.

"Wait," Y/N grasped his wrist before he could leave, "Everyone, this is my friend Kiyoshi Sato."

To Kiyoshi's surprise, they all greeted him and introduced themselves. In the span of only a moment, he was conversing with people who didn't want to make fun of him and no longer felt outcasted. Soon enough, all six of them filled up a table with pizzas and wings. Atsumu and Kiyoshi had been in a nonstop conversation about a game they both enjoyed playing while Kyo and Hori glared at one another in a silent battle for the last pizza slice. Y/N sat across from Osamu who had been eyeing her the whole time. The feelings of uneasiness still settled in his stomach, thoughts in the back of his head about Y/N spending so much alone time with someone else. "Something the matter?"

He didn't have it in him to let his emotions ruin what he had again, so he stuck on a smile instead, "Just tired, that's all." Y/N hummed, not wanting to pry too much.

Mr. Sato watched from behind the counter, a sigh of relief at the sight of his son smiling and laughing with new people. He could feel a tear forming but quickly squinted his eyes and walked on over, "I'll take care of closing, so you kids enjoy your evening."

Y/N was about to protest but he spoke again, "Don't worry about paying either, tonights on me. You kids are always welcome here." he had a cheery smile before giving a quick bow and walking off.

The group had made their way outside, waving bye to the owner with many 'thank yous'. It was time for goodbyes for the night. "By the way," Kiyoshi gently tapped Kyo's shoulder and she turned to look up at him with a curious expression. "I don't think I ever thanked you back at the party."
"It was nothing," she only shrugged. "Thank you anyways." He smiled at her, feeling an odd sensation that made his hands clammy.

"Oi Kiyoshi, I'll call ya later so we can play together." Atsumu clapped his back on the newfound friend, "And you should totally hang with us. I'll add ya in the groupchat."

Kiyoshi felt his chest fill with clouds.

It was the next day and Y/N scribbled nonsense on her notebook while Atsumu made his way into class. "Hiya L/N,"
"Hey Atsumu," she looked at him with concern, his expression dull and voice less chirpy, "everything alright?" He slumped in his chair, "Hori is ignorin' me again,"
"I'm sure she'll get over it, just hang in there." She gave a reassuring smile before the teacher stood up, "I will now be announcing the list of students who will attend this year's field trip." Y/N went back to doodling, already knowing she'll be the only one not going.

"and L/N Y/N."

Her head shot up, wondering if she heard that right, "Uh excuse me, did you say my name?" The teacher sighed out, "Yes I did Miss L/N please pay more attention."

"I hope everyone is ready for this trip, it's a place to learn and make some of your best highschool memories."
