CHAPTER 15

STEPHEN ROMANO(NONO)

*after Lorenzo called Alice*

 Lorenzo comes in and sits on the sofa. I look at him for a few seconds.

"Do you want to explain what is the reason that you hid our child from us?" I ask 

"Yes about that I don't want to tell everyone yet so lets go to my office and talk" he says

"okay lets go Sarah" I say and grab her hand and make my way to his office

We settle down and I nod at him to start

"As I said she doesn't remember anything" he says stalling 

I give him a stern look 

"She doesn't remember anything meaning anything about her life" he says sadly

"What? why?" I ask 

"Ok I will tell you from the start. I think you have to keep calm for this" he says and continues after everyone takes a seat

"So a few months back Issac was kidnapped by Russians-" he says

"What and when did you think you were going to tell us that my grandchild got kidnapped by our enemies" I say trying to keep calm as he said

"I will tell everything as far as I know but I would like it if no one interrupts me" I give him a nod to continue " So when Issac was kidnapped we-" he pauses for a moment "we somehow get to him there we also found Alice she was also with the Russians I don't know how much time she spent there but she was not looking good at that time we took her home but it took her some days to wake up and speak to us" he pauses and looks around to see everyone 

"She does speak to us but she is still scared she doesn't speak to anyone apart from us, she has healed a little but it will take some time for her to trust and be open to us and also gain her memories back. Though her memories are not back yeh there is one thing I want to say she is scared of men in particular. So I hope it will be fine if she doesn't speak to one of you" he points to all the men in the room.

A few curse words can be heard and a vase has been thrown across the room.

"My child has been tortured by Russians I will find the and kill them " I say while Sarah keeps crying beside me I look around and see everyone has tears in their eyes.

I will keep my child safe. I won't let anything harm her again.

Sarah hugs me and cries in my arms.

Alex and Elijah enter the room and sit

"Why is she not back it's been a long time you have called her." I ask 

"She is nervous about meeting new people" Elijah says 

"I will go to her room and call her" I say

"NO" an unfamiliar voice shouts 

I look around and see that Arthur and Noah. Did Noah just speak?

"Yes I think it is better if I go to get her" Alex says

"No I mean no lets not disturb her she is sleeping in her room" Noah says

"She was ready and waiting in the living room half an hour ago is she fine?" Elijah asks

"Yes she is fine Arthur tell her why she is sleeping" Noah says to Arthur

"I- Before you came I made her do some exercise to relax a bit." he says 

He is hiding something

"Ok let her rest and hope she doesn't have any nightmares" Elijah says

"Nightmares?" Sarah asks

"Yeah she has nightmares pretty often and its about the same thing every time" Ace says

"What is it about?" I ask

Everyone stiffens at this.

"I think she will tell you when she is ready" Ace says

"Ok let her rest we won't be going soon anyway" I say

"No I think you should go" Noah says I look at him in disbelief 

"Noah" Elijah scolds

He goes out followed by Arthur

"Its fine I think he is only scared for Alice" Sarah says

Elijah smiles at her

"I think we should go downstairs everyone must be waiting" I say 

We go downstairs. 

I make Sarah sit with my daughter-in-laws.

I make my way upstairs to Noah's bedroom and hear him and Arthur talk loudly about Alice.

I stay there and listen in on what they are talking. I generally wouldn't but as it is about my child I can't let it go.

"She is scared because one of them is from our family" Noah says

"No it can't be true" Arthur says

"She can recognize him by his scent, I won't doubt her for a second and don't tell about this to anyone she made me promise before telling me" Noah says

I go towards a guest room that me and my wife usually stay when we are here.

I lock the door.

What scent?

Who is this him?

Do we have a traitor in our family?

If it is a man from our family it must be either me or my children because my grandchildren are too young to be involved in this.

It is definitely not me I would die before doing anything to my principessa. 

So it means it is one of my boys. 

All of them loved her.

But who might this be?

It can't be Silas he has always loved Steve he is his twin and he always loved Steve's children as his own and he doesn't like to get into illegal stuff.

It can't be Simon because he has no time handling the Spanish mafia to plan this and hurt her can it be?

It can't be Samuel because Alice was like his child and he loved her to death and when she was gone he handled everything here. 

Mio Dio( MY GOD) its really difficult to do this but I have to it involves my child's safety and her comfort

But my children can't do this I-

I will send them back telling them to go handle the mafia and the work but Samuel can stay here I can't doubt him.

UNKNOWN POV

I will kill her before she gets her memories back and tells anything about what happened to my family.

I don't regret one bit what I did to her. 

She deserves it and Vladmir has always made it clear that she deserved it because she is his child.
