CHAPTER 19

STEVE ROMANO(father)

I have been away from house for a few months searching for my bambina.

Now I have to go back to my children and be a good parent that they need and I should stop searching for her.

I am currently in my country going back to meet my children. 

1 hour later I reach the mansion and the guards greet me and open the gate. 

It's night time now I don't want to disturb their sleep time "hi, Tell the guards to open the doors of the house" I say to the guard at the gate

He looked a little hesitant " sir I think I should inform Capo about your arrival." 

"I may not be your capo now but you can't disrespect me like this. Call the guards" I say

"Sir my intentions aren't to disrespect you but there is something that you don't know and it would be better if Capo informed you. Sorry sir"

What may happen that can't be said to me by the guard?

"Ok fine. Call Ace" I say and go to the door I think of knocking or ringing the bell but it may cause disturbance in my kids sleep. So I wait at the door for a few seconds.

Ace opens the door

"Hello dad, let's go to the office" he looks around and says

" Ace what is going on?" I ask him as I look around the house it looks a little better. 

"I will explain everything in the office" he says in a serious tone

"ok lets go" 

We go into his office and he closes the door behind him and we sit down.

He looks at me for a few seconds 

"How have you been?" he asks

"I am fine but I still couldn't find Alice" I say 

"I know" he says I give him a questioning look 

"We found her" He says and waits for my reaction 

"Where is she? When did you find her?" I ask him

"She is sleeping in Issac's room. We found her a few months back" he says

Few months. how I wish I would keep contact with my kids while I was away.

"Ok I will go meet her." I say and get up from the chair to leave 

"NO you can't meet her" He says 

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN I CAN'T MEET HER SHE IS MY CHILD" I say 

"calm down I know this but we should inform her about your arrival before you meet her and if she wants to meet you then you can meet her" Ace 

"I will meet my child and certainly she will meet me too. And how did you find her?" I ask

"Issac was kidnapped few months back by Russians while we rescued him we found her there with him" he says

"He was kidnapped? And why would she be with Russians she was with Evelyn"

"Yes he was kidnapped. We don't know how Magnolia was with Russians" He says

"You should have asked her then" I say

"about this I want to discuss a few things with you and I want you to be patient and listen to me to the end" I nod 

He explains me everything.

What has happened to my bambina in the past. 

I really regret sending her away. I wish I could take all her pain away. 

"I am going my room go to sleep" I say 

He nods and hugs me "Everything will be fine. She is recovering now" 

I nod and pat his back "Good night son"

Why did she get a panic attack when Ace said my name was it because of me sending her away?

*flashback*

Its been a week since I divorced Evelyn.

 She was becoming unbearable and she was getting meaner as days passed  with the kids since Alice's birth. I don't know what is wrong with her but I wouldn't see my children suffer because of a selfish woman.

All woman are same except my daughter. She is kind, caring and sweet.

I have given Evelyn a house and a few millions to get rid of  her. She left without a fight and she was happy about the money that proves that I made a right decision.

I had a meeting with our men in our warehouse I was leaving from my room when I saw Alice push Noah downstairs.

I rush downstairs but Noah was bleeding and he was unconscious. 

I call one of the guards to take him to the medical wing. 

I turn around and look Alice crying. It is all an act like her mother I can't believe she did this to her brother.

"Dad" she says

I hold her shoulder " Why have you done it, I thought you were a good child but you are as bad as your mother. So I will send you to her." 

"No dad. I didn't do anything" she says

" Don't lie Alice I saw you harming my child and you can't be in my home anymore I will send you there right now." I say

"Dad please I don't want to leave. Please" she cries while I drag her out 

I call one of our men and inform him to take her to her mother. 

I push her towards the guard she falls down in the process. 

My heartaches at the sight but she disappointed me a lot. 

"Dad please don't send me away" she says 

I turn around and close the door and run towards the medical wing and see all my boys standing out.

"Where is Alice" Arthur asks 

"I sent her to her mother" I say

All of them argue with me and I tell them what she did

"No she can't do it" Alex says

"She did. And we aren't discussing this anymore" I say 

the doctor comes out and says that Noah is fine and will wake up in a few hours.

I send the boys to rest and sit beside Noah.

Few hours later he wakes up and looks at me.

"how are you feeling" I ask him

"I am fine. Where is Alice is she fine" he asks 

"Why are you asking about her she pushed you so I sent her to stay with her mother. " I say

"No she didn't push me she was trying to save me " he says

"I know you love her but you don't have to lie to save her I saw her pushing you ." I say

he doesn't reply he turns around and sleep 

 That was the last day I saw my daughter and heard Noah. 

I went to the house that I provided her to stay 2 days later but she was gone.

I shouldn't have given her this big of a punishment. 

I should've just made her say sorry and teach her the right things.

I close my eyes and go to sleep.
