CHAPTER 24

ACE ROMANO

I sit on my chair in my office I have in the home. 

What is going on with half of my brothers why are they behaving like this.

I understand they are upset with dad and maybe more but you can't disrespect your father like this. This can't happen in my house.

And why is Alice so different with dad. What is going on 

I am glad There are no problems in the office and mafia at the moment except the regular small ones but things at home are giving me a headache now

Elijah, Noah and Arthur get in and Elijah takes a seat on the sofa while the other two sit in the chairs opposite to me.

"why are you behaving like this with dad" I ask after a minute 

Arthur scoffs

 "Why shouldn't we" Noah asks 

I take a breathe in controlling my anger "because he is your FATHER Noah " I say 

he scoffs 

What the hell is going on where is this behavior coming from what is wrong with them.

"Noah! he is your elder brother behave" Elijah says 

"I am Elijah I just don't understand what part of keep dad away from Alice are we not understanding" Noah says 

"He is her dad  Noah we can't keep our dad from our sister" I say 

The door opens and Alex walks in 

"well I can and I will" he says and turns to Alex "Where is Alice?" he asks him

"In the library" Alex says and he nods 

"no you are not doing anything like this and we saw how dad was after she went away" Elijah says 

Noah clenches his jaw and looks down 

I don't think he should be guilty now 

"yes we know how he was but we want him away from her Ace" Arthur says

"Give me a reason" I say 

Arthur and Noah look at each other " we aren't giving any reason but we want what is better for her" Arthur says 

"It is better for her to bond with her father maybe she could gain back her some of her  memory if she bonds with dad" Elijah says 

I look at them and see Arthur and Alex are clenching their hands and jaws while Noah looks like he is about to cry 

"No she doesn't have to regain her memories" Noah says in a low tone

"What" Elijah says and I look at them searching for answers 

They look down denying to answer. No I am sure there is something I don't know and I will not sit back and not know what is going on in my home

"Alex are you hiding something from us" I ask looking at him 

he doesn't answer I bang my hand on the table, he looks up at me and there is sadness in his eyes that I have never seen before.

"Is this somehow related to dad?" I ask him 

Arthur and Noah look at him and Noah shakes his head "we promised"

" Stop it Noah" Elijah says 

"NO I WON'T AND IF YOU SAY ANYTHING I WILL NEVER FORGIVE YOU AND NEITHER WILL ALICE" he shouts at Alex
