Chapter 20

Derek sat up immediately as he looks around seeing a nicely built living room. He looks at his body seeing no scratches or bite marks on him except a torn pants and shirt and a bloody couch he was laying on.

"How are you feeling?" He looks over to the doorway seeing Rose standing there with clothes on her hands. He stayed silent as she motions the clothes and walks up to him and offered them to which he refused to take.

"I would like to thank you for saving mine and Isaac's life." She tells him and he stood up as his height towers over hers making her look up at him.

"I was just passing by." He tells her and walks passed her.

"Where are you going?"
"Home."
"You can't leave." She follows him towards the front door as he stops on his tracks and turned to her.

"Stop me." He tells her as they both stayed silent before he scoffs and grabs the door knob only to be pushed back and landed on his back in front of Rose who looked down at him.

"Should have listened." He stood up from the ground glaring at her before looking at the door.

"Aunt Freya casted a spell to keep you in the house using your blood. It will be lifted once you answered their questions."
"So what I'm a prisoner here?"
"You can still wonder around. Bathroom is down that hall, the kitchen is over there and if you wanna watch tv, it would be over there."
"Shouldn't you be in school."
"I was 30 minutes ago. You've been unconscious for 15 hours." She tells him as he checks the clock on the wall.

"And it's also Friday which sucks since I'm grounded."
"And you deserve being grounded. Very reckless."
"I couldn't sleep last night."
"So you went outside with a boy who doesn't even live here. How is he by the way?"
"As of matter of fact he does live here and his fine. He got injured when he got tossed."
"What type?" He ask as he grabs the clothes from her hands.

"A head injury and apparently he got scratched but it was probably from a tree." She tells him which made him look at her.

"Take me to him."
"What?"
"Take me to him now." He tells her and she led the way. Towards Isaac's room to still seeing him bedridden. Derek walk towards Isaac and went to grab him when Isaac immediately woke up and grab hold of his hand.

"Isaac. Hey." Rose walks up to them immediately grabbing their hands as she gently pries Isaac's hold on him to which he did.

"It's okay, his checking if you're alright." She tells him softly holding his hand as Isaac looks and nods at her.

"Where did you see the scratch?"
"On my side." Isaac mutters and Derek looks at Rose who nodded as Derek grabs his shirt and lifted it up as Rose and Derek saw no scratch.

"I-Is it bad?" Isaac asks as Derek puts his shirt back.

"No, sweetie. You're okay now." Rose comforts him smiling and kissing his hand making Isaac smile. Derek rolled his eyes and grabbed Rose's arm pulling her away from Isaac.

"Derek, ow, you're hurting me." Isaac growled as he sprinted towards Derek and threw him off her. Derek hits the wall causing a big dent as he fell to the ground. He glares at Isaac as his eyes glow blue and Isaac begins to slowly change and immediately Rose stood between them.

"Woah Woah Woah, everyone calm down. Let's not fight anymore okay." She extended her hand towards them giving them a calm energy.

"Isaac, I'm okay. I promise. As for you, Mister, what was that about?"
"Seeing if his a werewolf. Seems like I'm right." Derek stood up when the door opens revealing Kol.

"Come here Rose. Now." Kol held his hand out as Rose walk towards him and took his hand. Kol glared at the two as he pulls her behind him.

"You two better take your shit outside. You live here, you should know better and as for you, don't hurt my niece again or I'll take your heart out of your chest and shove it down your throat." He growls and they leave the two male wolves alone. Stiles and Scott visited Rose only for them to be notified that she's grounded and won't be hanging out with anyone by Davina. That is when Scott notices Derek inside the house.

"What is he doing there?" He pointed out and Davina looks at Derek than back at Scott and Stiles.

"He saved my niece and Isaac from a large wolf the other night. Isaac got injured and became a werewolf according to both him and Rose."
"A large wolf like how large."
"We don't know, it was dark when we got out to save them and we fended them off until Klaus and the others took over."
"That's probably the same wolf." Scott tells Stiles who shrugs and Davina frowns.

"You know about it?"
"Yeah, it's how I got turned into one."
"Okay, come inside and tell me the entire thing." Davina lets them in as Scott went to the top.

"Okay so, one night during a full moon, Stiles and I went to the woods to look for a body."
"Half of the body."
"And we tried hiding from the cops and Stiles went ahead and got caught."
"By my dad."
"So I was alone and tried finding my way out when a herd of deer came out of nowhere and almost killed me. I dropped my inhaler and went to look for it only to see the half body which was a female and I fell to a small hill. I got up heard a noise and thats when this huge black wolf attacked me and bit me."
"And there hasn't been wolves in California so, its a werewolf." Stiles says as Davina nodded taking in the information.

"I see, it came after you for a reason."
"Its building a pack." Derek says as they looked at him.

"He went after Scott, attacked both Rose and Isaac and got Isaac in the process."
"But it went after Rose and not Isaac."
"Than that wolf senses something in Rose. He didn't want Isaac. He wanted Rose." Stiles looks at them as Davina knew he is up to something.

"My family can't stay here."
"What? Why not."
"It is the reason we move country to country, state to state, but..." Davina stops herself as she didn't want to say anything else, but Rose continued.

"They want me for power." She says and they all looked at her.

"I don't know how, but they think if they kill me. They'll be more stronger. We haven't done research as to why yet, but we're trying to see."
"Rose."
"Angie warned me before, Auntie Davina. She told me I was destined for something. Be it life or death. She's trying to see what the future holds, but." She shook her head as the three boys looked confused.

"Who's Angie? Another sibling of the Mikaelsons?"
"No, she's a guide. Rose's guide. Her biological mother. And Avery...her real father passed away from an unknown attack. Possibly supernatural attack."
"Ohh." Stiles covered his mouth as Scott felt pity and Derek...didn't say much.

"Has she talked to you yet?"
"No, she's been quiet. Its starting to worry me honestly." Rose says and Davina immediately walks up to her and hugs her rubbing her back.

"I'm sure she's okay. She's an Angel after all."
"Even so, everything has a weakness be it mortal or immortal." She tells her and Davina knew thats it true. Everything does have a weakness.

"What happened? why are they here? You know-"
"I let them in Kol."
"Dav."
"Kol, the boys know. I'm sure Isaac too, everyone in this house basically have ears in the walls but four people." Davina tells him as Kol sighs and see the distress on his niece.

"What is wrong Rosalina?"
"Angie, she's not responding to me." Tears flooding her eyes as Kol held her.

"Wait, Rosalina...holy shit thats the girl you were still crushing on. Its her." Stiles pointed at Rose as Scott immediately puts his hand down shushing him.

"Not the right time."
"But-"
"Shhhhhh." He covers his mouth as Stiles voice muffled.

Soon the rest of the family came home and Davina immediately tells them everything Scott had told them.

"Okay, Scott is part of the pack...why is the human here?" Marcel ask as the glance at Stiles who was walking around and looking at everything in awe before they look at one another.

"Well, I have a feeling that he has smarts that could help us."
"Smarts?"
"Brains. I don't know, his somehow part of a pack. In a way." Davina tells them shrugging when they heard something crash and look to see a broken vase on the ground and Stiles scratching his head.

"I-I'll uh...clean that up."
"The dust pan is in the kitchen closet." Davina says and Stiles claps his hands nodding as he headed to the kitchen.

"Right. The brains." Finn says and then they heard things falling as Rose's dog barks from the sound.

"Sorry!"
"Don't tell me he's gonna stay the night?"
