Wasted Times

Part 20 - Stronger

"Good morning, honey" Tony says with his hot heavy voice.

"Good morning, handsome" you reply and move as close as you can to his body.

You're in his house, after he finally convinced you to take the extra step and leave your house, and you just had the best sleep ever under those dreamy silk sheets of his.

"The meeting is in an hour, we overslept" he comments when he sees what the time is.

It's been more than a week of him negotiating and today is the deadline the judge gave them if they plan to come up with a settlement. Which means that if they don't agree on something today, this whole case is going on trial.

"Don't worry, you'll be there on time" you close your eyes because you still haven't fully woken up yet.

You naturally wrap yourself around him and place a soft kiss on his exposed bicep. His skin is always so soft and taken care of. Also, his scent. He always smells amazing, which makes it even tougher to step away from him.

"I'll go take a shower and get dressed. Sorry, baby, I don't have time to join you for breakfast" he apologises.

"It's okay. By the way, I also want to take a shower, I missed that fancy bathroom of yours" your eyes are closed but your smile is wide.

"Oh, you did?" you can feel his smirk against you.

"Aha, it's just so comfortable" you admit.

"Well, I was prepared so I already have towels for you in the bathroom. You should go first and I'll go right after you" he caresses your hair.

"You should join me" you say and a few seconds of silence follow.

"I-I don't... Will you be comfortable with something like this?" his tone changes instantly to more seriousness.

"Yes, I'm sure. I wouldn't have suggested it otherwise" you finally open your eyes and tilt your head upwards to face him.

"I'd love that then" he smiles.

"Let's go, we don't want you to be late again" you giggle.

"Oh, you little tease" he laughs.

Between your beautiful laughters, you manage to share a few sweet kisses to once again express your love towards each other. Of course you had to take the lead and get out of the bed first, because if it was up to Tony you'd stay there all day and he'd miss his meeting.

You turned on the water in the shower and adjusted the temperature. As you waited, you felt Tony's careful touch on your shoulder as he stood behind you. He's only wearing his boxers, so he doesn't have many clothes to take off. Opposite to you, who's wearing pyjamas.

"I can give you space" he whispers, knowing that getting naked in front of someone else again isn't something easy.

"No, I want this" you nod, reassuring him.

"Okay, take your time" he kisses the side of your head and takes a step back.

You take a deep breath first and proceed with taking off your pyjamas. Even staying in your underwear in front of Tony, who you completely trust at this point, feels a little bit scary. The scar inside you is healing but you apparently still need some time.

"You are beautiful. You are amazing. You didn't deserve any of this" you can hear the hurt in his voice.

"Thank you" you gulp, fighting back your feelings.

He doesn't push you at all. Instead, he gives you all the space you need. With slow movements you first undo your bra, which you're now grateful that you were wearing during the night. Even slower, you take each strap off and eventually let it fall on the floor. You turn face to face with Tony and even though you can tell he wants to touch you for comfort, he's holding himself back.
