Gabriella started growing up and she became one years old: her teeth started coming out, she started trying to walk, she started saying small types of words to be understood by people around her.
She grow up even phisically: her round head, her brown hair started growing, her eyes were wide and curious about the world around her and she started getting taller too.
Meanwhile Miguel started getting more confident with Y/n around his house. Therw were no awkward silence pauses. They both shared usually a nice conversation together when Gabriella was asleep and Miguel wasn't busy with work. And Miguel was soften than usual with her.
During the weekend, usually on Saturday, Miguel always tried to organize something with his daughter, to share a bond moment together. We can say he wanted "family outing day" even if it was just the two of them.
It was a day to spend more time with Gabriella with fun activities. And meanwhile Y/n had a day off.

Once, while Gabriella was watching TV, an advertisement appeared on the screen about a new acquarium opening in their town. Miguel just came back from work when he saw his daughter watching TV, and the nanny was folding the baby's clothes.
When Gabriella heard the door closing, and the heavy footsteps of the father walking up to her, she tured to him and smiles, tending her arms to him <<Dada!>> she said, as the man picked his own daughter up. The baby smiles and pointed at the TV, as dolphins and fishes showed up <<Fishes!>>.
Miguel eyes softened, and nodded, kissing Gabriella's forehead. His little sunshine. <<Yes, mija, fishes. Do you like it?>>.
The baby smiles and clapped her hands, in an happy and energetic way. Her eyes sparkled with joy. Miguel glanced at the TV, as the advertisement kept playing. Y/n finished folding the clothes as she glanced at the TV <<I heard it's a beautiful acquarium, with baby activities too.>> she said, talking with Miguel, trying to suggest something <<Gabriella would have so much fun.>>.
Miguel thought about it for a second. He wanted to spend his time as much as possible with his baby, having a bonding time and moment with her. Maybe going to an acquarium was good not just to have fun, but even to make her develop and appreciate the nature.
He looked over the baby, who was trying to grab his hair <<What do you say, niñita?>>. But the answer was obvious.
The next day Miguel had his breakfast as Y/n was dressing Gabriella up. She made her wear white baby pants, with a t-shirt covered by strawberries. Plus, she prepared the usual bag with the necessary things for her: diapers, a bottle of water, tissues, wipes, sanitizer for hands.
Gabriella was having fun with Y/n. She was messing with her babysitter's hair as she was adjusting her shirt <<And... done. You look beautiful, Gabriella.>> she said to the baby, who smiled a lot and held on Y/n.
Miguel was ready too. Usually he always wore a formal suit, or a qhite t-shirt and black pants when he had to get out for anything. This time, he was wearing a blue shirt, a pair of jean and white shoes. He was dressed really casual and Y/n couldn't help but feel a little surprised.
<<Mija, I am ready.>> he said, walking up to Y/n, to pick his daughter in his arms. But Gabriella was playing with her nanny's hair and completely ignored her father.
Miguel looked at the clock on his arm and said <<We are in time, if we go too late it will close up. Come on.>> he then gently pick his daughter but she started moving and refusing to get off her arms <<No!>> she said with her little voice, holding on Y/n's shirt tighter.
Miguel frowned, confused by her reaction. Did he do something wrong?
<<Gabri, come, we haven't got all day.>> he said. But the baby wasn't moving at all. She repeated <<No! Mama!>> he made him understand she wanted to stay in Y/n arms. Both of the nanny and Miguel didn't mind the word "mama" anymore.
<<It's Y/n's day off.>> he said, as if Gabriella cared that her nanny needed a day off of work. But nothing. Gabriella buried her face in her shoulder more. She didn't want to move at all.
Miguel tried to keep himself calm, holding the bridge of his nose as he whispered some cursed spanish words.
Then, the nanny spoke <<Maybe I can come with you, Mr O'Hara?>>. He raised his head and looked at her, and he stated <<Isn't it your day off?>>.
<<Yes, but maybe I can have my day off tomorrow?>> she asked as and kept speaking <<I won't interfere in your day out with your daughter.>>.
She knew how much he cared about his daughter and how much he wanted to spend time with her. She was trying to find a solution.

<<I apologize if we messed up all your plans.>> Miguel spoke, as Y/n was pulling the stroller as they walked in the acquarium. Miguel just bought the tickets for them to enter.
<<It's not a problem, Sir.>> she spoke, glancing over him <<I know how important is this for you.>>.
He nodded. As they approached the aquarium, they were greeted by a grand entrance adorned with colorful signage and captivating displays, hinting at the aquatic marvels inside.
<<I'll give your free day tomorrow.>> he spoke, as he looked around <<And call me Miguel. I don't mind it.>>.
The air is cool and slightly humid, creating a comfortable environment reminiscent of being near the ocean. Soft lighting illuminates the pathways, guiding visitors through a series of exhibits and displays.
As they walked along the pathways, visitors encounter a variety of aquarium tanks, each representing a different aquatic habitat. The tanks are carefully designed and arranged to showcase the diverse array of marine life. Vibrant fish of all shapes and sizes glide through the water, their colors shining brilliantly under the carefully calibrated lighting. Gabriella gasped, smiling a lot, as she looked mesmerized at the fishes. Miguel smiled slightly, seeing his daughter being captivated by those small creatures.
<<Fishes!>> she turned, smiling at his father and at her nanny.
Miguel giggled <<Yes, mija, fishes!>>.
In addition to fish, they could observe a variety of other creatures. Graceful seahorses clinging to plants with their prehensile tails, while mesmerizing jellyfish gracefully pulsate through the water. Colorful coral reefs provide a backdrop for countless invertebrates, such as starfish, sea anemones, and crustaceans.
Gabriella was surprised and excited about what she was watching.
<<Hey Gabri, what's that shape?>> Y/n asked, interacting with the child, pointing to a creature.
<<Star!>> she spoke, touching the glass where the star was resting.
<<Yes, well done sweetheart.>> Y/n praised Gabriella, as she clapped her own hands.
Suddently, as they walked through the aquarium, they entered a gigant tunnel or walkways that took them through larger tanks, giving the illusion of being submerged underwater.
<<Que maravilla...>> Y/n could hear Miguel whisper under his breath in spanish as Gabriella made happy and excited noises. This immersive experience allowed them for a closer look at larger marine species, such as sharks, turtles, and dolphins too!
Y/n got enchanted when she saw all these creatures together. It was everything so magical.
When Miguel turned to say something, he stopped his sentence when his eyes fell on Y/n. Her curious eyes were wide, admiring every little or big creature she could see.
As Miguel's gaze met Y/n's fascinated eyes, he couldn't help but feel a warmth spread through his chest. In that moment, he realized how much he admired her genuine curiosity and the way she effortlessly connected with his daughter. A subtle smile played on his lips as he began to comprehend he felt something deep in that moment.
Lost in his thoughts, Miguel was momentarily startled when a random person approached him and commented <<I just wanted to say you have a beautiful family, sir.>> the person assumed that Y/n, being the nanny, was his partner. And that Gabriella was their daughter.
Miguel's heart skipped a beat as he glanced at Y/n, who was still engrossed in the enchanting world of the aquarium. However, he couldn't bring himself to correct the stranger's assumption just yet, he just replied with a simple <<Yes, thank you.>>.
For now, Miguel continued to watch Y/n, appreciating her genuine joy and the bond she was sharing with his daughter.
