As Miguel and Y/n prepared to leave, they exchanged glances filled with unspoken feelings. The air was charged with a mix of nervousness and anticipation, both of them aware that this date could lead to something more.
Since it was an elegant reasturant, they needed to wear something unique, something suitable for the place that they were heading to.
Miguel stood in front of his mother, meticulously adjusting his navy blue suit. He straightened his tie, ensuring it was perfectly aligned, and smoothed out any creases on his jacket.
<<¡Te ves increíble, papá!>> Gabriella spoke, excited to see her father beautiful more than ever. On his serious expression, a little smile appeared <<Gracias, Gabri.>>.
As he finished his final adjustments, the sound of footsteps echoed through the hallway. Miguel's heart skipped a beat, knowing exactly who was approaching. From the top of the grand staircase, Y/n appeared, descending with an air of elegance and grace. Her emerald green dress flowed around her, accentuating her beauty.
Miguel's eyes widened, a surprised look formed on his face as he took in Y/n's stunning appearance. She radiated confidence and charm, capturing his attention completely. The moment felt like it was straight out of a fairytale.
Just as Miguel admired Y/n, Gabriella and Conchata did too. Miguel's mother stepped forward, her eyes sparkled with admiration as she gazed at Y/n <<Y/n, you look absolutely breathtaking>> Conchata spoke warmly, her voice filled with genuine awe <<That dress suits you perfectly.>>.
Y/n blushed, feeling a mix of gratitude and shyness. She curtsied slightly, grateful for Conchata's kind words. <<Thank you so much, Conchata.>> Y/n replied, her voice soft and humble.
Miguel couldn't help but feel pride swell within him. Seeing the smile on her face and his mother's approval only confirmed that he had made the right choice. Maybe this night was a good idea.
Y/n then got to Gabriella's height, as the small child hugged her <<You look like a princess!>> Gabriella said, excited by the fact they were both well dressed.
With the compliments exchanged, Y/n stood up and glanced over Miguel, who cleared his throath and asked <<Shall we go?>>. The nanny just nodded, smiling and said goodbye to the woman and the child, before they both headed out the house. They walked to the car, and before she could open the door, Miguel did it. He spoke with his low but gentle voice <<After you.>>. Y/n smiled and sat inside the car as he closed the door. He went over his driver seat and sat too, turning on the car, as they could see Gabriella and Conchata waiving at them from the window's house. Then Miguel drove away.

Y/n sat beside Miguel in the black car, the soft glow of the city lights illuminating their faces. The atmosphere inside the car was charged with an unspoken tension, an undeniable attraction that had been building between them for more than six whole years. They exchanged glances, their eyes lingering a little longer than necessary, but neither dared to voice their feelings.
<<I am sure we'll spend a nice evening.>> Miguel spoke, and Y/n nodded as her heart raced with anticipation. She couldn't help but steal occasional glances at Miguel, admiring his composed demeanor and the way his suit accentuated his handsome masculine features. The subtle warmth in his gaze whenever he looked her way sent shivers down her spine.
Meanwhile, Miguel found it increasingly difficult to keep his composure. Y/n's presence beside him was captivating, and he couldn't deny the growing connection he felt with her. He marveled at her beauty, how her eyes sparkled with intelligence and kindness, and how her smile could light up the darkest room. Yet, the fear of ruining everything they created time to time held him back from expressing his true feelings.
Soon, Miguel stopped the car at their destination: a prestigious and luxurious restaurant that exuded elegance and sophistication. The building stood tall, its exterior adorned with grand columns and intricate architectural details. The entrance was embellished with lush floral arrangements, inviting guests into a world of refined indulgence.
After Miguel stepped out of the car, and helped the nanny to do the same, the valet graciously greeted them, taking care of the vehicle. They walked through the grand entrance, and the ambiance of the restaurant enveloped them in opulence. Soft lighting cast a warm glow, reflecting off the polished marble floors. Crystal chandeliers hung from the ceiling, casting a dazzling display of light and adding to the enchanting atmosphere.
The tables were adorned with pristine white tablecloths, gleaming silverware, and delicate crystal glasses. The aroma of exquisite cuisine filled the air, tantalizing their senses and heightening their anticipation for the culinary delights that awaited them.
<<It's beautiful>> Y/n whispered to herself, but her worda arrived to Miguel's ear too.
The waiter approached them with a welcoming smile, his impeccable attire matching the restaurant's grandeur. <<Good evening. Welcome to La Belle Epoque.>> he greeted them, his voice exuding warmth and professionalism as he asked <<Do you have a reservation?>>.
Miguel spoke <<Yes, under the last name O'Hara.>> nodding and looking at the man. The waiter checked on the book he was holding, and aftwr a bit he said <<Yes, Miguel O'Hara, a table for two, am I right?>> he smiled and tend an hand to the tables and said <<Please allow me to escort you to your table.>>.
Y/n and Miguel followed the gentle waiter through the decorated dining area, passing by elegantly dressed patrons engaged in lively conversations. The restaurant emanated an air of sophistication and exclusivity.
As they reached their table, positioned near a floor-to-ceiling window, Y/n and Miguel took in the breathtaking view of the city skyline. The moonlight bathed the surroundings, creating a romantic ambiance that mirrored the emotions simmering between them.
They settled into their seats, the anticipation palpable, as the waiter handed them the menu and left.
As they glanced over the menu, Miguel spoke <<I have never been in places like this.>> he confessed. Y/n, that was choosing her plate, glanced over him <<Really?>>.
<<I am not joking at all.>> he said, looking at her in her eyes. She smiled and spoke <<You look like a business man who work a lot. You know, how in the movies where they usually eat in fancy reasturants.>>.
He looked at her surprised, by how she saw something similar between him and the business men in the movies. But he smiled softly and nodded no <<Before I had Gabri, I just got the job I have now.>> he explained <<And after that I became really busy with work. But I didn't want to be totally off my daughter's life.>>.
Y/n heart almost melted by his words, seeing how he wanted to be a succesfull man but also a present father <<That's so nice of you. And the best decision surely.>> she spoke, smiling. Then for a second, the waiter came back again for the orders and, after that, he went away again.
She closed the menu, putting it aside to him <<Can I ask you why didn't you decide to become a doctor, and you became a nanny instead?>>.
Y/n's eyes sparkled with amusement as she smiled <<Oh, well, you see. My first plan was the one of becoming a doctor. But life had other plans for me.>> she explaied << I love taking care of children. I couldn't resist the joy and fulfillment that comes with nurturing young minds. Plus, I enjoy the endless supply of laughter and happy moments they bring.>>
Miguel chuckled, his eyes twinkling with mirth <<I can't deny the infectious laughter that fills our home whenever you're around.>> he spoke, gesticulating <<My daughter adores you, my mother is the same. And so do I.>>. When he said that, she looked at him surprised, as her cheek slightly became red <<Really?>>.
He nodded <<Really.>>.
As the night wore on, their conversation flowed effortlessly, weaving through shared stories, dreams, and joyful anecdotes. They laughed freely, savoring the moments of connection that seemed to stretch into eternity.
With every passing minute, Miguel and Y/n discovered more about each other, their souls dancing in harmony. The laughter became a bridge that connected their hearts, deepening their bond with each playful exchange.
The waitstaff discreetly refilled their glasses, and the hours melted away as they lost themselves in the magic of the evening. Their laughter echoed through the restaurant, drawing glances from nearby tables, but they remained engrossed in their own little world, blissfully unaware of the outside world.
In those precious moments, Y/n couldn't help but notice the way Miguel's eyes sparkled with genuine happiness and fascination. She wondered what thoughts danced within his mind as they shared these beautiful, laughter-filled moments.
As the night drew to a close, they exchanged knowing smiles, their hearts brimming with gratitude for the laughter and happy moments they had shared. Little did they know that this chapter would become a cherished memory, a testament to the joy and love that would define their journey together.

They came back home, satisfied with the food and their talk. Gabriella was in her bedroom, sleeping already, as Conchata was sitting on the couch, enjoying a late TV show. When she heard the door, she greeted them <<Had a great night?>> she asked, her eyes sparkled with curiosity. Y/n nodded while smiling <<Yes, absolutely. The food was great and the place was nice.>>.
<<So was the company.>> Miguel added, his eyes never left her face. Y/n nodded and looked at him back <<I agree.>>. Then she spoke again <<I should go resting, tomorrow I have to take Gabriella to school.>> she said, her nanny job was still in her mind, as her thoughts sometimes slipped somewhere else. Miguel nodded and made a quick smile <<Have a good night.>>.
<<You too, both.>> Y/n smiled at them, nodding, before heading upstairs to her room.
Conchata was going to speak again, maybe teasing his son. But she remained quiet, as she noticed Miguel's eyes never leaving the nanny's figure till she disappeared.
