Happy family

It is a lovely evening as Danielle is cleaning around the house and starting to prep for dinner waiting for Haerin to get home from work, she heard the doorbell and looked up at the time.

Its still pretty early so Haerin shouldn't be home yet, she walked over to the door and looked through the peephole, it was no other than her niece, Hyein!

Danielle swung open the door and hugged Hyein so tightly

Danielle:
Hyein!!!! Its been so long since ive seen you~~

Hyein:
Auntie Danielle!!!!!

Danielle bring Hyein inside and closed the door, she started to take out the cheesecake she baked earlier this evening and cut out a slice for Hyein

Danielle:
Where are your parents? (Bbangsaz).
What bring you here today?

Hyein:
Mom and mommy went on a vacation for their anniversary yesterday, i dont want to stay at home alone so im gonna stay here with you and auntie Haerin!!

Danielle:
What!! They left you at home alone??!!!

Hyein:
Yeah...

Danielle:
My poor Hyein!! Im going to talk to them! But of course you can stay here

Hyein:
Yayy!!

Hyein happily eats her slice of cheesecake

Hyein:
Oh my gosh.. yum! Youre so good at baking

Danielle smiled happily at the compliment

Danielle:
Im about to go shopping for dinner, what would you like?

Hyein:
Carbonara pasta!

Danielle:
Sounds good!

Danielle put on her jacket and bring Hyein along with her to the supermarket. They bought all of the ingredients needed to make the food and Danielle also bought some snacks and treats for Hyein

As Danielle is making dinner Hyein is putting her stuff into the guest room. She ran to the kitchen holding a large bag

Hyein:
Auntie Danielle! I forgot to give this to you! Its candy, i got it as a gift from a friend and they gave me too much so im giving them to you, theres some pretty weird flavors though

Danielle:
Aww how sweet! We can all try the candies together after dinner, okay?

Hyein:
Mhm!

*times skips*

Danielle is just almost finished with making dinner, as its also time that Haerin should be home any second. The door bell rung and Danielle ran straight to the door, opening it as quickly as she can and threw herself right at Haerin

Danielle:
Welcome home baby!!

Danielle kissed Haerin

Danielle:
What would you want to have first? A bath, dinner, or... me?

Hyein looked at them with disgust as she could not believe what she just heard

Hyein:
Ewww...

Haerin hearing the familiar voice and poked her head inside to confirm who it is with Danielle still clinging to her

Haerin:
Hyein? What are you doing here?

Hyein:
Haerinie auntie!! I missed you!

Danielle:
Shes going to stay with us until Minji unnie and Hanni unnie get back!

Haerin:
Ohh, i see, well im going to take a bath first then we can eat dinner

Danielle finished up making dinner as Hyein set up the table, just in time, Haerin is done with her bath

They enjoyed their dinner together. As soon as Hyein got a bite out of the carbonara pasta, her eyes sparkled

Hyein:
Oh my gosh auntie! What can you NOT do?? This is sooooo good

Danielle cant help but chuckle at the adorable girl

Danielle:
Im glad you like it! You two, dont forget to finish all of your vegetables

Hyein:
Mom (Minji) never finishes her vegetables and mommy (Hanni) would make her sit back down and finish it every time

Haerin:
That sounds like something they'll do

As they finished up their dinner, Haerin cleaned the table and does the dishes while Danielle and Hyein bring the bag filled with candies to the living room and does a taste testing session

Danielle reads out some of the flavor and is visibly confused

Danielle:
Clam juice?? ...And ketchup???

Hyein:
Did i mention that the flavors are weird

Danielle unwrapped the clam juice flavored candy and pop it into her mouth

Danielle:
Its not bad... its just pure sourness

Haerin:
I would like to try the same flavor

Danielle looked into the bag to pick out another piece of candy with the same flavor, Haerin cupped Danielle's face and started kissing her. She used her tongue to get the piece of candy from Danielle's mouth to hers

Haerin squinted her eyes as the piece of candy is too sour for her own liking

Danielle:
Hey! You stole my candy!

Haerin:
I shouldn't have.. this is too sour

Hyein stare at them with a straight face (😐)

Hyein:
Why are you guys always like this

Danielle:
Oh Hyein! I forgot you were here

Hyein:
Auntie.. did you guys recently did it? Theres a fresh looking hickey on your neck

Danielle used her hand to cover up the hickey and gasped at what Hyein said

Danielle:
Hyein!! Who taught you that??

Hyein:
Im going through puberty you know...

They all tried every single flavor in that bag, Hyein and Danielle chose their favorite to be the strawberry-mango twist while Haerin's favorite is watermelon

Danielle got a call from Hanni

*Through the phone*

Hanni:
Hyein isnt bothering you is she?

Danielle:
Nope! Shes been a delightful! But now that we're talking, what in the world were you guys thinking of leaving her alone at home?? What could have happen if she didnt come over to my house

Hanni:
What? I told her to go to you guys straight away!

Danielle:
That dont matter, you shouldve at least tell me to pick her up!!

Danielle gave hanni an earful as shes lecturing about how Hanni should parent and give more responsibility as a parent while Hyein just nods and gives a thumbs up in approval

After their phone call ended, Danielle is heated.

Danielle:
Haerin! Water!

Haerin didn't lose a second and quickly ran to the kitchen to get a glass of water for Danielle

Hyein:
Wow.. does she always do whatever you ask?

Danielle:
Of course! Especially after something she did one night, shes been more obedient than ever

Danielle pointed at her hickey and winked at Hyein. Hyein understood it right away at what she meant

As soon as Haerin got back, Danielle commanded a massage and Haerin got to it right away. Getting relaxed by her girlfriend, Danielle started telling stories about Hyein's parents; Hanni and Minji and what they did and how their little fights are always over nothing

The 3 spent hours talking to each other, telling stories, eating snacks and just have fun
