(a/n): tfw your fic takes place in China, where Wattpad is banned💀
Anyway, here's an extra long chapter
--
Your entire way here, you had your hood up, hiding the blue tips that people would immediately recognize. Instead, you glamoured them out as you pulled your hood down, the bell signifying your presence.
The noodle shop wasn't too different from Pigsy's, something you could tell from the decor alone. Although with the addition of a rack of packaged goodies next to the counter, and rows of bread and sandwich spreads displayed, it gave the place a homey feel to it as well.
The boar that manned the place packaged one of the deliveries, while the biker girl leaned against the counter, scrolling on her phone and yet to notice you. She'd have to wait though, since you still have a little cattle member to deal with.
'They should really work on their disguises.' You thought, sitting in front of the bull clone as it covered his face with the menu. It lowered the menu at the sound of the chair being moved, your face being enough to take him aback.
Right before it could stand up and run, you directed the water in the glass and hovered a ring of the liquid around its neck. The bull clone can only stay in place, les it wanted to malfunction. You'd think that Matchstick would've made them waterproof by now, but oh well.
"Relax, comrade." You spoke with an eerily calm posture. "I just wanna talk to whoever sent you here."
The bull clone huffed, and activated his watch, showing you a holographic screen of the prince himself.
"What do you want now, peasant?! Can't you see I'm trying to plot in peace?"
"Just making sure you don't do anything you'll regret." You smiled, opening a knowing eye. "We're buddies now, and buddies look after each other."
"Oh, so you think we're 'buddies' now, just because we made a deal?" He mocked you, making air quotes at the word 'buddies'. "Need I remind you that you threatened my father with killing him and the rest of us?!"
"I did do that, didn't I?" You squinted your eyes in a teasing manner, before shifting your posture to a more serious one. "But hey, I get it. Family comes first and all. Too bad we haven't been to those temples yet to make sure they'll stay safe."
Red huffed, before looking to the side. You had a point, and he knew it. Now he had a choice: Either get his ma and pops onboard for whatever their currently scheming, or stall for time while he still prepares for the worst.
While he continued contemplating, you returned the ring of water back to the glass as you heard someone approach. Knowing Red, his final decision isn't clear. So just in case...
"So what'll you're order be?"
The boar cook stood near the both of you, holding a notepad and ready to jot your orders down. The bull clone deactivated the hologram immediately in panic, too distracted to notice you eye the most expensive meal on the menu.
"He says he'll have your sweet and sour seafloor special." You smugly ordered, to the detriment of the bull clone.
"Ah yes, King crab and prawn drizzled in our sweet and sour sauce, with fried potato slices on the side. A customer's favorite." The cook grinned in accomplishment. "You want some noodles to go with that?"
"Szechuan sounds nice, and he wants wonton." You pointed at the bull clone, with it wondering what you were trying to do. "And two smoothies, prickly pear and pineapple. To go please. Oh, and-"
The boar nodded as you kept going, jotting down your order before going his way. You kept smiling at the agitated bull clone, knowing full well Red was still watching through its eyes. You left your seat, knowing the lackey wasn't going anywhere, before making your way to the short-haired girl.
