I spend the rest of my seven days of spring break trying my best to be isolated from my family. I'd go out to the library for the day, train for hours in the shed, or lock myself away in my room, wallowing in grief and aggravation. Obviously I still have to see them, I live with them. We just don't exchange many words.
I don't dare to make contact with Isaac out of the fear that dad and Gerard will somehow track him back to Erica, Boyd, and Derek's railway cab.
