20 | Just kiss me already.

Y/N POV

8:27pm | Tuesday

"Hey boo" I say as I get home from a snack run. "Where's Toby?" I ask

Tommy went home yesterday, he was meant to stay longer but something came up and he needed to leave, sadly.

"Oh, he's inside helping his mum set up the new TV, he said it may take 5 minutes or 3 hours so, I have no idea when he will be back" he replies, looking up at me from his phone.

"Oh alright, I'm gonna go let him know I'm back!" I say, walking towards the door.

As I get inside the living room I see tubs and his mum setting up the TV, I let them know I'm back and I go to hang out with Marc.

"Hey" I say quietly as I re-enter the room,
"Hey" he replies with a smile.

I sit next to him and he looks at me, I don't look at him, for some reason my stomach fills with butterflies at the sight of him.

I try and push down the feeling but it grown more intense, he's still looking at me.

"What?" I say, finally looking at him

"Oh uh.. nothing, it's nothing" he says, snapping back to reality as I look at him.

"noooo what is it love?" I ask again, not realising I called him what I call a few of my close friends.

"Oh.. I was like looking at you, thinking" he replies,

"whatcha thinking about boo?" I ask

"nothinnnn" he says suspiciously.

"Okayyyy if you insist. I'm going to go lay on my bed, it's more comfy" I say, getting up and climbing the ladder to mine and tobys, at this point shared, flat.

after about half an hour I see ranboo walking over to me, I didn't even hear his foot steps.

I smile at him and he smiles back, climbing next to me on my bed.

we start talking, just about everything. then the topic of our love lives come up.

"my last partner was toxic as fuck" I laugh, making a joke about it.

"anyone you have your eye on now?" he asks

"why? you want a reservation in that spot?" I jokingly flirt. we have been just jokingly flirting the past couple days but this catches him off guard.

he gives me a smile and denied it but...

anyway.

"and so what if I did?" he says, equally as flirty as I did.

"I- uhh" I say, struggling to form words, I notice him move closer, laughing but still moving closer. I look away from him, putting my head down to cover the redness of my cheeks.

"use your words love" he jokes, putting his finger under my chin and lifting my head towards him.

I freeze, mouth slightly agape, breathing the same air as him. I can feel his warmth on my face, we've never been this close before.

our faces aren't even inches apart. his finger still under my chin, his laughing demeaned drops as he realises how frozen I am at this.

for a second I thought I saw him eyes dart down to my lips, but it could be the fact that I havnt blinked in a couple seconds.

"I... um.." I say as I blink and look away from him, my face is still just as close, but I look down slightly untill his finger guides my face back up to his.
