We made our way through the entrance tunnel, finding a broken cage, in front of a wall of cines that led up to a door leading to a central room that had already been cleared. With two girls with fairies heading up to the central door with four monkeys.

"Who are you?" I asked, wondering if they were trying to find the forbidden power first.

"I'm Linkette and this is Saria. And these are our fairies, Navi and Ember," the first girl Linkette said. "And are you two?" she added after a short pause.

"Two?" the second girl, Saria, asked, blinking and staring at Linkette with a confused look on her face. "What do you mean by 'two,' Lin?"

I was rather confused about the girl in green, this Saria... Although small and youthful, she clearly needed a bra. Despite her childlike personality, something in her eyes screamed of womanhood. I figured it was best not to be nosy about it.

"I'm not sure how, but I know that someone's hiding in her shadow." The auburn-haired girl said, getting both of Midna and I to tense. If she could sense Midna, then that means they might be agents of the shadow king.

"I can't sense anything," the cherry red fairy, Navi said.

"Me either," the other fairy, Ember added.

"Maybe not," Saria said, charging forest magic to her hand. "But I trust Linkette, and if she says someone's there, then they are. And the fact that they're hiding means they have something to hide. And her power feels similar to that power deeper in the temple. Though weaker."

"We could say the same to you," Midna said, coming out of my shadow still in her shadow state. "The fact that you know about that power means you are probably here to claim it for yourselves."

"We can sense it," Linkette rolled her eyes. "And while we are headed to it, it's so we can find out what evil magic was placed in the forest temple we care about before we try to find a way home."

"Oh please," I said, "that power has been here a long long time. If you were going to investigate it, you would have done it awhile ago, plus you don't have any weapons."

"We have magic," Saria said, "and you're one to talk little shadow dweller. You're weapon is a magic mirror."

"I know you have magic," I said, "I can sense the forest magic you are charging. But magic alone won't help. At least this mirror can be used as a weapon."

"Why you!" Linkette said, charging some kind of magic I had never seen before, I charged magic to the mirror.

"Let's just calm down!" Ember said interrupting us. "They're not bad people. We fairies can sense that much. Maybe we can help each other out."

We looked at each other, not quite trusting, before sighing.

"Fine!" we agreed.

"We were trying to pull the Master Sword from its place in the temple of time." Linkette said. "It said we were too young, and then we appeared at the entrance to the Forest Temple. But it is different. It looks older, and the layout is different. Plus the dark power we can sense further inside."

"I'm Luna and this is Midna," I started off, "we were sent here by the spirit of light that sealed the power in here long ago, to retrieve it in order to match the power of the king of shadows that is trying to conquer the land. Sort of fight fire with fire. As a half twili, I might be able to handle it and as a full twili Midna definitely can."

"Well I have never heard of a spirit of light," Saria said, "but getting that power out of the temple is good by me. Why don't we work together until after that, then go our seperate ways. While I would like to help stop the conquering of the world, we are already dealing with that back home, and need to get back."
