Visions of Twilight

Chapter 20

We found ourselves in a area with two tall stone statues, that when I reached in front of them, I instinctively howled to, causing the floor to disappear except for several platforms just floating there, as the statues jumped to one two platforms in front, and one two platforms behind.

"We are guardians of this land...0 they said. "Guide us to where we once stood. Only then can you enter the true Sacred Grove."

Looking around, I noticed they moved from platform to platform when we did, once opposite, one the same way. Looking around, we eventually figured it out, and went left, back, right, right, forward, left, forward, forward, left, back, back, right, and forward. Causing the statues to glow, as a door opened, and the floor returned.

"Go now to the sacred place... beasts..." they said. "We yield passage to the sacred grove..."

With that we continued on through the door and up the stairs, to where the Master Sword lies on its pedestal. As we approached it began glowing, and releasing waves of power, before we returned to our hylian forms.

"O brave youths," a voice said in our heads, causing Linkette and Saria to tense, making me realize it was the one who sent them here. "Still too young to wield me, but if you continue on your quest that will change. Until then I will allow your friend to carry me. She holds the embodiment of the evil magics that transformed you. I suggest learning how to use it to change between forms at will."

With that it disappeared in blue light and reappeared in Midna's hands before she sent it to her inventory, and looking at the Crystals that embodied the evil magic.

"It's definitely different from our tribes Shadow Magic," Midna said looking at it. "Still there are enough similarities I can teach you how to activate it now that I have examined it. I can also warp you whenever you are in animal form. Though I want to stay incognito so I'll stay in your shadows when your human."

"Okay," I said before Midna taught us how to transform. We eventually did it, before figuring out that if one of us was in animal form, Linkette could shrink the other two down to tiny bug size, and they could ride. The ears were a favorite place, since they provided a place where we couldn't get lost, the one who was animal could hear us and by pinning their ears back, covering our bodies in case of attack.

After awhile Linkette and Saria decided to have some couple cuddle time, and I needed a distraction, which I had an idea for.

"Hey Midna?" I asked.

"Yes, Lu-Lu?" Midna asked.

"While they are having couple cuddle time," I said, waving at Linkette, and Saria. "Mind if I warp to hyrule field and howl Epona's Song? I want to see if she will come."

"Sure," Midna said, warping us awa after I transformed.

Once arriving I howled Epona's Song, and looked around before seeing Epona coming.

"Mistress Luna!" she said in shock. "What happened to you?"

"Me and the two friends I introduced you too before gained the ability to become animals." I said. "I become a wolf pup, Linkette becomes a kitten, and Saria becomes a Fox Kit."

"This is so wierd," she complained shaking her head before calming down. "What did you want to do?"

"How about a race?" I asked, eager to test my speed.

"Are you sure?" she said, "as an adult horse I have an advantage there, against a pup like you."

"You're on!" I said as we got ready, and started racing around the area.

Eventually, we stopped playing and me and Midna returned to Linkette and Saria, who had ended their cuddle time and collected both a golden male snail and a second poe soul as all of us took human form.

"Hey, can you help me find the Mirror of Twilight, hidden somewhere in Hyrule?" Midna asked.

"That is what my mother used to bring me here," I noted, "It is too bad, that I woke up before I could see where it came out at."

"Yeah it is," Midna agreed, "It's also our last potential link to Zant."

"Then we will find it!" we said as we warped away.
